Really lovely meal for a cross generational group with different dietary requirements. The staff could not have been more patient and understanding. We had a wonderful meal and will certainly return.

Sunday lunch was not good...roast potatoes were rock hard, and pork belly you could not cut it. I was disappointed that you had to pay an extra 4.50 for stuffing ,or cauliflower cheese etc.....deserts wre small and overpriced..
We had a large booking of 20 people, from the minute we arrived everything was very professional, a nice welcome message for our group on the wall, started with drinks in the bar while we waited for everyone to arrive. Once seated, we never had...to wait or leave our seats the service was excellent. The food was also perfect, all came out swiftly, very well presented and how quite everyone went was a good sign everyone was enjoying it. Overall a faultless experience, excellent staff! Special mention to Will & Rui for the service and Sam & Ryan for the food.More
The restaurant was lovely and in a beautiful setting, and the staff were great. However the wild mushroom, spinach and goats cheese raviolo was very disappointing. It was 2 large flat pasta shapes (maybe this is what raviolo means rather than ravioli, but unless you’re...Italian I don’t think you’d know that) with the smallest amount of filling in the middle. Having just looked up the menu to check the spelling I see it was supposed to come with beetroot crisps which it didn’t. The fish and chips at the same price was much better value.More
This is our third visit in 4 months and every time it's been absolutely brilliant! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Just got back tonight from another amazing meal and great service from Amelia!! Definitely compliments to the chefs!
Always a lovely time - we had yet another lovely meal here. Service is always 5* with fast and attentive staff that are more than accommodating. I have been here whilst passing through for a meal with my other half and also taking my parents...and their dog for a pint. Would recommend to anyone in the area.More
Came here not so long ago & We will happily come back! The slow roast pork belly was excellent as was the bacon and cheese burger that my partner had. The food and drink was served in good time. the staff were accommodating and created...a friendly and nice atmosphere. Can’t wait for our next visit!!More
Staff were good as always but despite pre ordering there was no bruschetta for starter which also led them to do the artisan breads with what appeared to be naan bread! They did remove from bill though. Chicken Caesar salad was not great and missing...the anchovies. Pork belly was tasty but had soft rind rather than crisp crackling stated. Shame as felt a little let down after having some great meals there.More
Emilia & Rui are lovely host's. From the moment we walked in we felt right 'at home'. The pubs got a lovely relaxed atmosphere which was nice. We didn't feel rushed to order, eat & leave. We could of stayed there for a few hrs!!!...The food was excellent! Very tasty & a good size 'portion' aswel & not too bad a price! It's cheaper than some but dearer than others but, in all honesty, it didn't matter what it cost as both myself and my husband throughly enjoyed ourselves. We'll 'definitely' be going back again and sooner rather than later. A definite 10 + ☆More
Just popped in by chance. Made to feel very welcome by the staff, who had dealt with our indecisions with patience. The staff were non stop giving attentive service. Decided to have the Roast Sunday Lunch. A very ample portion of chicken and beef served...with fresh tasty veggies , not boiled to death; good Yorkshires; all the trimmings you could ask for, very pleasant Sunday afternoon As an addition, it has beautiful views !More
Excellent I popped in with some friends on a Friday evening. The staff were lovely- really personable and professional, and the duck starter and venison main was so good - not your standard pub fayre at all. The large back garden is beautiful. New manager...Will has definitely improved the place! I would 100% recommend Swan in LamportMore
Me and my parents visited this pub as I live locally and they were here to stay. The roasts are amazing! Such huge portions, we were absolutely stuffed. We had the chicken, trio of meats and vegan nut roast between us. A special mention for...the yorkshire pudding, perfect! Dad said next time he will not visit me, he will just come for the roast!!! Thank you Swan!More
Loved the garden, what an amazing view! Nice atmosphere. Food was great (loved the duck, fish and chips, and the pork belly dish). And Lily (plus all other staff) were simply charming. Well worth a visit!
I had the roast lamb last Sunday - tender and beautifully cooked, served with a heaping portion of delicious veg, the Yorkshire pudding was tasty (not the usual dry, gravy sponge you get at other pubs). The value was excellent for size of the portion...and quality of the food. We did leave a bit of room for pudding, and the key lime pie (baked by one of the staff!) was worth every last calorie - a perfect ending to the meal. Service great and very efficient. Will definitely be back.More
I don’t usually complain, however I feel compelled to share our experience. Our Sunday dinner was ok, vegetables overcooked and portion sizes small. We did mention this to the waiter who said they would share this with the manager. I think we were wasting our...time bringing it up. It’s a real shame, the restaurant is very well appointed and it’s in a stunning location. We won’t be rushing back.More
