Absolutely wonderful, last Saturday. First visit ..meeting up with my son before a Sportsman’s evening in Northampton . Food and service superb in a lovely surrounding.. Highly recommended
Had a lovely dinner at Haveli this evening. Food was amazing. Service was excellent . Will definitely be visiting again soon.
We were a group celebrating a special birthday at Haveli. The food was great, the staff were great and the service was spot on. Especially loved the traditional costumes. Thank you very much.
Our second visit and just as good as the first. Both service and food were excellent. The restaurant is spotless and the decor lovely. Staff are extremely attentive and the meal was presented beautifully... and tasted absolutely delicious, A special call-out for the Peshwari Naan...which is stuffed with coconut.. yummy! The meal was discounted because we finished before 7.30pm on a weekday. Nice surprise. Rated as one of the best in Northampton. It is actually THE BEST.More
We decided to book here after receiving a flyer through the door. We were warmly greeted and staff were very attentive throughout. It was early evening though so I can’t speak for a busy night. The food, although a little pricey, was amazing. Delicious and...beautifully presented. Recommended. We will be back.More
Well what can I say..... Absolutely incredible! We were met by attentive staff, who were all so very helpful, polite and pleasant. There was nothing too much trouble. The food was second to none! We ordered the banquet for all 8 of us, and they...accommodated for our vegetarian in the party by offering different options to the menu. We had a fantastic evening and rest assured we will definitely be returning for more of the same. Simply brilliant!More
Party of 10 of us who all commented on how good the food was - the dishes all seemed fresh and flavoursome What made it better was the staff who were all friendly and efficient They seem to be trying their best to stand out...from the crowd of more traditional Indian restaurantsMore
We ordered a takeaway for 3 people at 7.05pm and were told between an hour and 1 hour 20 min delivery time. This was acceptable. However, after 90 mins, still no sign of the meal, I rang and the lady said she couldn't find my...order, but rather than keep me on the phone, she'd call back. After 10 mins (and no call back), I called again, to be told the food was on its way. She was quite short with me, as though I didn't really matter as a customer. Food arrived 10 mins or so later and was hot and what we'd ordered. However, it was 1 hour 55 mins after we'd ordered. I know its a busy evening, but no apology for being so late. I won't be ordering a take away again. The food is good but on the expensive side. Best to go and get it yourself!! Or go elsewhere.More
We went for our office Christmas night out and the whole group were left thoroughly disappointed and did not ultimately enjoy their food or the experience. We had the Christmas Set Menu; unfortunately there was nothing ‘Christmassy’ about it! No effort had been made with...table decorations (crackers, party hats etc), or the dishes on the menu. Basically seemed to be their Sunday Buffet Menu with an additional £10 charge for nothing other than it being called a Christmas menu! Everything started ok. They had some nice drink options and the starters were actually really good. We then had quite a lengthy wait for the mains and when they arrived there simply was not enough food to go around resulting in half the party going without. We had to attract the attention of a waiter and order more food and suffer yet another lengthy wait until they finally bought it to the table. Unfortunately we found the food to be bland and lacking any flavour. One of the chicken dishes literally tasted like tomato soup. It all looked unappetising and lacked any garnish such as a sprinkle of fresh herbs.it was totally different from the starters, almost like we were in a different restaurant! It’s a real shame because the food has been really good on our previous visits. However our experience was so poor on this occasion that we will not return.More
Had the absolute pleasure of going to this restaurant on the recommendation from other friends what an amazing meal the food was awesome the company brilliant the staff were very attentive to our needs and the cost reflected the meal all in all a very...good night and shall definitely be returning Thank You HaveliMore
We visited Mewar Haveli for the first time yesterday evening and will definitely be going back. From the moment we were welcomed by the gentleman on the door to when we left we were treated fantastically, the staff are lovely and service is superb. The...food was stunning, everything was beautifully presented and the taste was incredible. I had the Hot Chilly Fish as a starter - this had an amazing hot and sour style sauce and was really tasty. For main course I went for the Murgh Mewar Special. The quality of the meat was great and the spicing was so good. My daughter went for the Surf n Turf and said it was the tenderest lamb she had ever eaten. We were very full but I thought I would have to try the Banana Flambe which they cook at the table. It was a great experience watching this and an even better one eating it! I really can't praise Mewar Haveli enough and can't wait to go back again.More
I visited the resturant with a friend. We had the full works - poppadums with churneys, a starter, main course with a dide dish rice and naan bread, and gulab jamuns to finish, the whole washed down with a couple of bottles of Rioja. Each...element was delicious, beautifully and thoughtfully presented. Portion sizes were perfect. I went away having had ample sufficiency without feeling I had over done it. The decor is warm and welcoming as are the staff, who are attentive without being obsequious. My only slight reservation is that I was not totally convinced that the wine was value for money, but my friend was happy with it, so probably just me. I will try a different one next time. This restaurant is definitely a cut above the normal Indian restaurant and worth the money. The cost is a little more than the average Indian restaurant. I am looking forward to my next visit.More
Just had a excellent Sunday dinner at Haveli Northampton - The food was really lovely and beautifully presented. Highly recommend if you want a “fine dining” experience. Delicious desserts too -pineapple flames cooked in front of us . I would highly recommend!.
I had my wedding reception here. We were a small party of about 40. The service was brilliant. I had been liaising all the way through with one of the staff called Chhabi he took care of everything I had asked and dealt with the...decor company. The food and the set up was all what I had asked for. The guest's all complimented us on the restaurant and the food. They made this time for us perfect. The restaurant is light and airy with beautiful pictures on the wall. The staff are dressed in traditional Indian attire. Nothing was too much. A big thank you to all staff.More
