We come several times each week. The staff are friendly and helpful. The range of drinks and snacks is good, bearing in mind Covid restrictions. The dog loves the forest and the attention from other visitors!
Gone downhill since the takeover. Staff all wear uniforms. It's like eating in an airport. Used to be a real country feel. Now just corporate nonsense. As someone else quite rightly said, same prices, less food. No salad or crisps with sandwiches. Sad really. I...More
Used to really love the breakfast here, even had parties for beaky. Now you can get a bacon roll etc, not the same. Place still clean and welcoming but it has lost the personal touch. Still go but only occasionally.
