Top quality Sunday roastie, use the pub quite a bit as everyone is so friendly and professional. Never eaten in the upstairs dining room before, lovely. Not rushed, however recommend you book

Visited Old House for dinner with friends. The venue looks amazing and I was impressed with the decor both down and upstairs. The food and service were great and being a vegetarian always difficult to find options but I was pleased that there were quite...a few vegetarian dishes available. I went for the pea and asparagus risotto, which was lovely and a perfect portion size. Will definitely be visiting again soon.More
A fantastic evening. All the team were warm and welcoming, like visiting friends. Service was swift and attentive but not too quick so as though you felt rushed. And when the food arrived-wow! The presentation was equal to that of any high end restaurant in...London. Portion size was just right and the flavour….how best to describe it….quite simply.. it blew us away!! And the new decor is a real statement which adds to the great experience. We will definitely return 👌🏻More

We tried out the Old House after hearing about its renovations and menu update. The food we had was incredible. My partner tried the Fillet Steak from the specials menu and it was cooked to perfection and was a great quality piece of meat. I...had the chickpea and sweet potato curry which was also delicious and very flavourful. Each dish was presented really well which gave the meal a ‘fine dining edge’. Great cocktail selection also, not your standard ‘porn star’ you can tell they have been well thought out and mixed to taste good! One thing that really stood out to us was the service we had, it felt like we was dining at a high end restaurant in London. The attention to detail was spot on and the restaurant it self is luxurious, including the toilets!! I would say that this is a great spot for date night or even special occasions, it’s not like your standard meal out in Northampton, it’s nice to finally have somewhere a little more up market to go for dinner locally! We will deffo be returning, but with friends next time and hopefully continue the night with drinks down in the bar afterwards! 🙌🏼🙌🏼More
Our first time in the restaurant upstairs since it’s been closed for refurbishment. Have to say ….. initially blown away by the decor - does not feel like you’re on the Welly Road ! Service was great and we had a fantastic Sunday roast -...I opted for the chicken supreme - a proper jointed piece of chicken rather than the measly few pieces of dry carved chicken you find elsewhere - and the gravy was rich and sumptuous. Yes it was very very good but the apple tart for pudding was the best I’ve ever had - I was cheeky and asked where they get it from - only to be told it is all made fresh in house - even better !!!More
Always been a favourite for a night out - but just visited this weekend since the refurb. It looked great before - but now it’s another level! The style is awesome and feels more upmarket than anywhere I can think of locally. The drinks were...great, and the food is delicious too. The new restaurant area upstairs is very on trend and is very contemporary. We’ll be back sometime soon to try out the afternoon tea menu too. Fantastic.More
Visited for dinner on a Saturday evening. Have to say the food was amazing. The newly refurbished restaurant looks incredible and we could not fault the service. We will defiantly be going again soon!
We had a wonderful Friday evening here, trying out the newly and beautifully refurbed restaurant. Their new menu looks amazing. We had the Halloumi Skewers and Pork Belly Bites for starters and the Crab & Prawn Linguine and Duck for mains. Sadly could not manage...a dessert. Nothing was too much trouble for this very friendly team. They also had a singer on until around 9-9.30 which we think that they said would be a regular thing on a Friday. In short - would highly recommend and will definitely be back.More

Came to oldhouse for the opening of the new restaurant. The decor is so beautiful you don’t feel like you’re in Northampton town. A really lovely relaxed atmosphere. We had three courses starting with the pork belly and halloumi. Started off with a cocktail which...was made perfectly. We then had steak and the curry for mains. Both were cooked perfectly. Service is as friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.More
