I used to come here frequently for dining- in with my friends. But since the lock down been getting take - out instead. Ginza mix sushi platter was superb and Unagi rice bowl very tasty, salt and pepper dishes are always my favorite. Will be back again next week

I was taken here on a date as a surprise, and i can say for sure that it was the right pick. The restaurant itself is incredibly detailed, with gorgeous imagery and japanese ornaments. Deep and light tones of red are dotted everywhere to bring a calming aura to the place, with dimmed lights and comfy seating. The food is spectacular: all freshly handmade and authentic. I highly reccomend the sushi boat - all the sushi and sashimi tasted wonderful and is incredibly worth the money. The staff members are very attentive, as they pour out all your drinks and serve food delicately. They give you your space to eat and will then collect the food once you are done, which allows you to fully enjoy the experience. Overall, a positive first time there and hopefully not the last!

I don't normally write reviews but having such a good experience is worth to share. I live in Northampton for almost 5 years and this is one of my top 3 places here as i am a permanent customer there. Food is always fresh and taste amazing, thanks to their chefs and is quick as well. Always had my food in no more than 10 minutes, service is very good. All the time i have been served by girls and they know their job. Is not only good service but i feel like they really enjoy what they are doing, they are positive, smile to you all the time, working quick and doing a quality job. I believe the owner is taking care of the staff as they are doing a really good job and feels like they are all happy. I would like to thank Ginza for all the experience that i had there.

Actually we did not eat much sushi but on the two visits,we tried the teppanyaki set which was good value. Bento set with eel was tasty although teriyaki sauce was a tad sweet for us, so was the fried udon with teriyaki sauce. Warmed sake was pleasant. Staff were excellent with their patience and efficient table service.

Me and my partner came here for a belated Valentines meal. We booked a table but as it was very quiet there was no need. The restaurant is highly decorative with Japanese ornaments and portraits dotted around. The menu is extensive, with a multitude of sushi, as well as rice bowls, bento boxes and starters. The waitress was friendly, very direct and too the point but we didn’t mind that. The food itself was tasty and freshly cooked. Although some components from our dishes were undercooked and very soggy and some parts lacked flavour. In terms of cost, it’s not the cheapest but I feel like it’s on par for other Japanese restaurants in Northampton and surrounding areas. The service was very efficient, maybe a tad too efficient as we had not long finished our starters and the main course had already arrived and we would’ve like a bit of a ‘breather’ to let our food digest. Halfway through our meal, the front of house and all the kitchen staff sat down in the centre of the restaurant and started their break and had a communal meal. It didn’t bother me as such, but as they opened at 13:00 and they decided to have their break at 15:00, I’m surprised they didn’t eat before they all came to work! They also have a karaoke bar upstairs with different rooms, as well as a Korean BBQ section downstairs, we’d love to try both of them some time! Overall, a unique place with authentic Japanese food, slightly let down by minor parts regarding the food and the service.

My first visit to Ginza but it won't be my last. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and efficient. As far as the menu was concerned I was spoilt for choice, there were so many delicious dishes to choose from. In spite of having to cut short my lunch due to an urgent call I did not lose out as the waitress immediately offered to pack me a takeaway of my unfinished meal. I will be going back soon with my family.

Title: No Wagamama - no problem I love Wagamama and Yo Sushi! and Ginza is like both combined. Food was superb and there is an open kitchen so I can see how the food is freshly prepared and cooked. First class food and loved the presentation. Amazing

The food was awful no Taste, been to better sushi restaurants. Service was shocking my husband main course came out and mine was just sitting under the light while the waitress was chatting with someone else I had to ask her if she could please bring it over. Secondly we ordered a bottle of wine and towards the end of our dinner the staff asked he we could pay the bill we had not even finished and then she said you can take your time and drink your wine. Well once we paid she gave us 5/10 mins and said oh you need to leave we are closing and we still had half a bottle of wine. Please don’t waste your money or time travel that little further to London for the best sushi and Japanese food.

We used to go a lot before lockdown. It’s a perfect place for fresh sushi. We used to eat sushi downstairs first and then get a half priced private karaoke room for a proper night out! It was such a different but fun experience! When they reopened again after lockdown, we visited again! Food quality is amazing as always! Beef bibimbap and soft shell crab is beautiful! We went on an ‘eat out and help out’ night. It was half price and the restaurant was super busy. Food served a bit slow. However, the taste is so yum as always!

First visit here for 6 ladies celebrating a birthday and really enjoyed. Ordered mix starter for two which I enjoyed. Others in the group ordered a variety of dishes all of which came out quickly and looked yummy. Great service and really enjoyed karoke room. Would recommend.

Awful awful food and service. Ordered for delivery. Missing items on order. Called the restaurant and they told they were unable to help with missing items and to call Deliveroo and proceeded to put the phone down on me. I called back and was told the same thing. The sashimi was AWFUl, tasted stodgy and very warm. There was no wasabi for any of the sushi . Very overpriced. Avoid.

Ginza had a lovely warm atmosphere - loved the colour changing lights and all the lanterns! The food was delicious - I had the avocado hosomaki and udon mixed veg with teriyaki sauce (portion size was massive!). very filling food, and the staff were lovely. would definitely recommend!

Last visited Ginza duing the August reopening when it was bustling. Yesterday with the latest reopening it was more muted, although still a roaring takeaway trade. Menu is extensive japanese with a big focus on Sushi and Bento boxes. I am no expert, and have always been hesitant about raw fish and what a real Japanese meal should be , and fill you up. As a family we had one of the sushi boats- it was great and I am a convert. We had a generous portions of salmon, prawn, octopus sushi- some simply on rice base others wrapped - delicious varitely and plenty to come away feeling you had a meal not a snack. Service was quick and freindly. Higly recommended

Me and my family came in for a birthday, and as soon as I walked in I was astonished. The food is very well presented and the table service is very fast. Fairly priced for a family of 5 and delicious food, the sushi and the ramen. My brother of 7 could not get enough of the ramen with chicken and Korean spicy sauce, however, getting to eat the sushi made from that restaurant was a blast. Very well made and presented indeed and one of my favourite restaurants of all time. I would definitely recommend and I will be definitely visiting again.

We are ordered Fried Noodle with is needed to be spicy , but the chef put a lot chill in the noddle , uneatable I like spicy, but is too much. I called them and they said the is spicy food, I understand but I know what is the different between spicy and very hot food . they are not helpful not replace it, and they said if I order a new Noddle then we can get another with less chill. I used Ginza in the last couple of years, but it was enough to leave them.
