The surroundings are very pleasant and the food is good, but the menu is very limited on a lunchtime consisting only of various sandwiches. There was soup on the menu but somehow curried parsnip didn't seem very appealing. The I

Very little choice. Latte so strong had to dilute it with milk, had a cheese toasty which was flat and tasteless. Hubby had some kind of curry chicken soup which he said was lovely but it was quite expensive and most of the servers (bar two) were miserable. Place was chilly had to keep coat scarf and gloves on. Wouldn't... More

Popped in here as other coffee shops had closed early as it was just after Christmas. Decor is average but probably suits pre show drinks. We ordered teas and coffees plus a flapjack ( pre packed) and a chocolate brownie (bit dry). Coffee was good as was mint tea which came loose leaf I a nice pot. Tea was served... More

I visit Little Angel often most frequently for business meetings thanks to excellent, super strong coffee and good internet. I also call in socially with family and friends. All offerings are good and recommend often to people. A really safe bet for any time of the day

As part of the queens hall arts centre the cafe strives to meet the demands of a varied and eclectic bunch of folks, achieving this on the whole quite well. I have visited quite often to meet clients at lunch. The menu is balanced and interesting.on this particular occasion I was watching my daughter in fiddler on the roof and... More

Located within the Queens Hall in Hexham. Opposite Hexham Abbey. We visited as a family with children. The cafe is spacious, clean and airy. High ceilings of the old and grand building type. Beautiful. Wheelchair access easy. We found dishes for vegetarians. Though choice is limited. The food was reasonable in taste. The chef can do variations of meals and... More

We called in to have a quick pizza and glass of prosecco before an evening performance. The pizzas were freshly cooked, with a variety of interesting topics to choose from and really delicious. The staff were busy but doing all they could to make sure everyone was served, all really pleasant and couldn't have been more accommodating. At £6.50 for... More

Great thin based pizza, hand made to order with interesting toppings and a bargain on a Tuesday with two for the price of one.

Once again we came, we sat, we waited and waited and left. We were in the cafe for over 15 minutes without even being acknowledged by a member of staff. We sat near the till, and were passed by every member of staff and not one even said "sorry we're busy well be with you shortly". That's all it would... More

Called in for a quick pizza tea and very impressed. Quick and friendly service. Really good pizza and a glass of Prosecco made for a satisfying meal.
