We went for an early pre-concert meal at No: 12. The meal was fantastic and beautifully presented. Every dish had such complex flavours and tasted so fresh. We now always go to vegan restaurants whenever we eat out and this is one of the best....Very good value and lovely staff! Well done.More

No. Twelve is probably the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in Nottingham. I’m vegetarian, and often I find vegetarian food quite weird and not like the delicious, filling meals I grew up with. It was nice to visit a restaurant with a ‘proper’ plant-based...menu, as it were. I ordered 3 dishes and all were stunning. I liked the coffee and the tapas experience was excellent. However, the toilets were slightly uncomfortable, being underground by about 3 stories, but that wasn’t a problem at all with the food being so nice.More

Went yesterday with a group of friends, none of us Vegan. We tried the lunchtime sharing menu and chose some other dishes too. Lovely food and the service was excellent: attentive but relaxed. The food came out gradually, unlike at some tapas type restaurants. Would...recommend. The mash and hen of the woods were my highlights.More

First visit to this delightful vegan restaurant. We came as a group of 12 for a work lunch. All of us meat eaters. I have to say we were all more than pleasantly surprised. Each dish packed with flavour good portion size, desserts were a...hit. Friendly service in a quaint building. Timings were good nicely spaced out and attentive to our needs. A must for all not just for vegans. My only suggestion warm bread would be a nicer touch.More

A really enjoyable experience with family and friends we tried the lunchtime offer - a drink, two snacks and 3 plates to share. The all vegan menu was exciting and plenty for my gluten free daughter to eat. Recommend for a special occasion! Cosy interior...tooMore

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve visited. It is not hyperbole to describe the food as utterly incredible, it truly was. Aside from the beautiful presentations, to taste each plate exemplified that the combination of flavours had been carefully considered down to the...very fine details. The Cast Iron Girolles, Brussels Kimchi Risotto and Best Mash were absolute favourites! All left me and my partner very satisfied by the comforting flavours exhibited, particularly at this time of year. Service was also impeccable - very welcoming, polite and efficient. The venue was cosy, yet spacious enough to enjoy your meal. The ambience was a peacefully happy place created through evenly-balanced, good music and soft, warm lighting. It is the perfect spot for a romantic meal, thanks No. Twelves ❤️More

We were really excited to eat here for our anniversary dinner after seeing great reviews online. Positives - the staff were really friendly and seemed to genuinely care about the food they served. The timing between courses was slow which might not be perfect for...everyone but we enjoyed just chatting! Not so perfect…. We finished our drinks as the first course arrived and weren’t asked if we’d like any more for the duration of the meal. The restaurant prides itself on its relaxed approach to fine dining but asking if we’d reuse our cutlery for all courses felt like a bit of a niche way to save on washing up. We actually ended up leaving 4 courses into the 7 course meal mainly because of the heat in the restaurant. It was honestly unbearable and whilst, clearly, the restaurant can’t control the weather, you’d think that 5 days into a predicted heatwave a fan might be a good purchase. Overall I’m pleased we tried it but food would have to be absolutely spectacular to enjoy it in a sauna like environment without a drink and for us it just fell slightly short. Presentation was lovely but none of the ingredients packed any decent flavour.More

First time here and more than pleased with the variety and flavours of the tasting plates offered and the standard of ingredients and choice. Clearly a knowledgeable chef as it's not often I enjoy all vegan presented to me. The staff were very friendly and...good humoured and seemingly interested in the food they were serving. I would recommend and, although it was my birthday treat and they didnt offer birthday greetings, that was of no consequence to me as I enjoyed everything about the placeMore

Puzzled by all the 5 star reviews which led us here in the first place. We went to No. 12 to celebrate my son's GCSES. We are all vegan and had looked forward to this event as the special occasion that it was, knowing that...it would be around £80 a head and thinking that the tasting menu had so many courses, we would be nicely full by the end. The food WAS delicious and beautifully presented, or if it wasn't delicious because of the play with citric acid in the dessert courses, it was at least interesting and inventive. We arrived at 5pm and it took 3 hours to get through the courses and our 16 year old was getting frustrated due to hunger. He had arrived hungry anticipating a nice meal out and likened it to water torture - very small drops of food spaced out very slowly. Each course was a mouthful (or two if lucky). We had to ask for a bread basket and stale, greasy foccacia arrived. The waiting staff were efficient yet cold. No mention of our special occasion was made even though I had explained in an email, when booking. The table and seating were small and fairly uncomfortable after 3 hours. No effort was made with table linen or candles. The toilets were in a damp smelling cellar and no hand towels or flannels to wipe hands on. These are little details that I would have expected when spending upwards of £200. We left hungry and went straight to Sainsburys to get something as equally delicious to fill us up. VERY disappointing to say the least. I expect its ok if you have a very small stomach, have money to burn and enjoy being bored between courses.More

Yes we are always baby friendly. We have a baby changing unit downstairs, not located in the toilet so both male and females can access it.
