The cuisine of India is as rich and diverse as her people and has its influence from all over the Ancient World. The first Moghul Emperor, Babur, a direct descendant of the Mongol conqueror Genghis Khan and the Turkish leader “Timur the Muslim” arrived from Afghanistan in 1526 and founded the dynasty on the ruins of the old Sultanate of Delhi.Under the rule of these cool Caliphs came a period where beauty and elegance became “in vogue” and flourished. The Sultans of Style nursed a passion for panache that was reflected in all aspects of life. Fair to say if you were looking for “Rogan rush” in the 16th Century, then Delhi was the place to be!To make these spices sparkle, a radically new form…
Anyone who knows my family knows we love the Indian cuisine and visit @4550milesfromdelhi2021 most weeks 🥳
4550 miles from Delhi have just changed new management and they are top notch on providing the best client service and bringing the tastes of Delhi to you......I’ve said it before and will say it again, this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Notts, hands down!! (And we go to a lot!!)
For starter we had:-
🧅 onion bhaji
🥠 Simosa Chaat
For main we had:-
🐓 chicks tawa (my absolute fav!!!)
🐑 Adraki chops (soooo succulent)
🍚 mushroom rice
🧀 cheese naan
🫓 a tandoori roti
*this is no ordinary curry house*
I can’t fault the food, service (the staff are just so friendly, lovely and personable) or atmosphere here tonight. We will definitely CONTINUE to return!
They even have a button to press if you require any further drinks which pings to their watches so service is always top notch even at their busiest times!More
What a fantastic experience...
I will keep it short
Outstanding from the moment we walked in to when we left.
We came from Leicester and it was so worth it. We will be back and will be bringing other...friends and family with us.
Thank you to Bobby and the amazing team for looking after us.
Look forward to dining with you again very soon.

I have visited this restaurant many times and every time I have been the food, service and atmosphere has been amazing, defiantly my favourite Indian restaurant to visit. The staff are well-mannered, welcoming and very approachable. The starters were phenomenal, the menu has a variety...of starters, I was surely spoilt for choice - the lamb chops and lamb sheesha kebabs were so juicy and tender and the onion bhaji were so delicious and fresh, I would 100% recommend.
For mains we had chicken and lamb curry, with chicken biryani and garlic and coriander naan. The chicken biryani and both curries were so fresh and tasty, and the garlic and coriander naan were so fluffy and soft, the best naan I have tasted!
There is also a private spacious area downstairs for anyone wanting to host parties/gathering. Thank you to Bobby and Manic for looking after me and my friends from the moment we walked in, we will surely be coming back soon for another great experience.More
I never really write reviews but this place deserves it! I booked the VIP AREA for a birthday party and they did not disappoint!
Food was 10/10 ordered portions of lambchops, prawns, papdi chaat
For mains we had chicken tawa, lamb karahi and veg biryani....I can honestly say every dish was amazing! And spot on to how we like it. My fave was the chops they were so juicy and succulent.
Thanks Bobby and all the team!More
There were 4 of us, went to try this place for dinner. Had great friendly service and amazing food...for me it was the Lamb Chops and Shish Kebabs that did it. The place its self is clean and refurbed really well. The VIP space downstairs...is a great place to host any parties...would highly recommend.More
Recently visited and we had a lovely experience and meal. The service and food was excellent - the staff are very friendly and polite and the atmosphere was great!
I was absolutely spoilt for choice looking at the menu - they have a wide selection...of dishes to chose from. We went for the Chicken Pakoras, Butter Chicken, Chicken Sashlik Tandoori Sizzler and Garlic and Coriander Naan. The Tandoori Sizzler also came with rice and salad.
If you live in Nottingham or are just visiting it’s the place to book for outstanding food in a great atmosphere! 😊
I will definitely be returning soon!More
In June I went to try their new menu as new owners have took over! ♥️ Bobby you were a star. ⭐️ We will definitely be back soon as we have no complaints. The staff were awesome. 🥰 The food was beautiful. The surroundings were...lovely (I absolutely love the neon sign)! I also thought it was cool that they have a table buzzer 🐝 system where you press the button and it buzzes their watches. So cool! 🆒
