Went in for some tapas, would recommend booking if able as it gets busy. Don't think you can book during the week. Food nice service nice. A definite place to go eat not overly pricey even if you pig out on lots of dishes and drinks! £30 each for a bottle of wine a drink and four dishes!

Hello Regarding the above Cafe at the following These premises were given a 5 rating for food hygiene at the last inspection, I would like to know how this is possible. We went there for a coffee to the Crimson Tree and while we were there two people came in with dogs (not guide dogs) and a third couple arrived... More

Thank you for your feedback on your visit. We got a 5 rating on our food hygiene because we work hard to keep our restaurant clean and follow guidelines set by The Food Safety Standards. We actually have 2 seperate closed kitchens & dogs are not allowed around our prep counters so, there is no risk of them contaminating the... More

I love this place. The scones are really fresh and their coffee is the business. I tried their crayfish and marie rose sauce sandwich for lunch and it was honestly the best sandwich I have had in a long time. The staff are mostly friendly and welcoming. They do close at 5pm some days which is a pity. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Not sure that the photo here is up to date, as the Crimson Tree moved down the road by 3/4 doors in June 2016, and this photo does not do it justice. Lovely ambience with great staff, and lovely breakfast/brunches, a real delight and a welcome change from the drudgery of places like West Bridgford. You could be forgiven for... More

I called in just by chance one morning, only aiming to have a cuppa, but it was too tempting and ended up with a bacon buttie, OMG!!!!, it was delicious, one of the few places to serve Chai Latte, only downside, I would've liked it in a mug, as there isn't enough in a cup!!!, Will definitely be back.

We ended up popping into the Crimson tree as another place had let us down. The decor inside is quirky but great and very cosy. We were seated and served pretty promptly by a lovely waitress named Emma. She gave us plenty of recommendations for both drinks and food. Everything she recommended and in fact everything we had was delicious.... More

I agree with another customer who left a review on here very recently. My husband and I visited the Crimson Tree many times for lunch, I also took a friend there. Then things changed, the prices went up and the food quality went down. We normally stick to the same places in different towns and are also recognised and welcomed,... More

Hello Anna Maria, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your Halloumi Salad - we haven't changed the recipe or the price since it first went on the menu. It's a shame you didn't raise your dissatisfaction with your waitress at the time of your visit, as we would've gladly replaced your meal for you. As... More

I was really impressed when I visited here with a friend for dinner. We had an impressive array of tapas for dinner and I can honestly say it was the tastiest tapas I have ever eaten! Particular recommendations include the feta and spinach pasty and the meat balls. The venue is a relaxed family affair serving cakes and breakfasts in... More
