pelican club has a lovely atmosphere and the bad we’re strumming away in the corner. The service was very attentive, but we found the pasta dishes a bit oily for our liking. But otherwise a great night out and will return.

We really love the atmosphere here, always receiving a warm welcome. The music was brilliant, the food and cocktails spot-on and the staff so friendly and efficient. Nothing here to dislike.
Great food, wine, service and live music here at the weekend. The house red wine was lovely. We will definitely be back. Thank you
Everything was great (staff serving us were friendly, starter and wine were lovely) until our mains arrived. I had the pork belly and it was so over cooked that in places it was completely burnt. After speaking to our waiter about this someone came over...to tell me they’d looked at it and it wasn’t that bad which I found really insulting, it was a special occasion and I wouldn’t send back my food for no good reason. I was offered an alternative pasta dish but at this point we just wanted to leave to enjoy our evening elsewhere. I would avoid this place if planning on eating.More
We met some friends on the recommendation of our Italian neighbours. Great recommendation. The service was excellent. The food was outstanding and the music. Great jazz joint as well.
What a little gem! Great location, fantastic staff and amazing food. If you like jazz while you eat, this is the place to go. Gets very busy at the weekends, so it's always safer to pre book. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back
Second visit to this place and have been impressed both times. Great food, good wine selection and well made cocktails. The ambience of the restaurant is excellent with a good mix of couples and small groups. The menu is Italian and is very authentic, if...your idea of an Italian meal is a pizza as rhick as a cushion with a pile of cheddar on top then probably best to avoid this restaurant.More
What an amazing evening. A warm greeting, lovely atmosphere, amazing food and brilliant music, what more could you possibly ask for?
A lovely restaurant with a really great atmosphere. The restaurant is intimate with tables very close together leading up to the stage with a live band playing whilst you eat. I would go as far as to say this is one of the best atmosphere’s...we have experienced in a restaurant. Regarding the food, it is nice, but overpriced for what it is. I had the pork saddle Umbrian stew which was pleasant, everything was cooked well, but it just lacked any bite for the price point. I would have also expected a bigger portion. My partner had the ragu which she stated was lovely. I had an orange tart for desert which was exceptional and very flavoursome. The red wine was excellent too. Overall, we would highly recommend for the atmosphere but the food is on the steep side for what it is. For fellow nut allergy sufferers, the staff are excellent and knowledgeable about what you can and can’t have on the menu.More
What a fabulous little place this is. We visited on recommendation and we weren't disappointed. It is a really cosy, welcoming restaurant with great staff, great food and great music. We were made to feel very welcome and loved it! Will definitely be back. Thank...you! 😊More
Lovely evening, great service, fabulous food. Oh and they know how to make a good dry Martini. Thank you
A really personal touch every time we visit. the staff are very attentive and personable. A lovely hidden gem and perfect for a special night out like date night or even a first date! The food is tasty and the portions are just right. The...ragu is brilliant and the pasta always perfectly cooked. Would prefer toasted bread with the antipasti, but other than that I can't fault it!More
We had a decent night here and staff etc were very friendly. However, the food was very average. Overcooked pasta and one dish was so sweet it was like a desert. No live music as promised. Overall very disappointing and should have gone elsewhere.
Excellent service, vibe and stunning food they even accommodate allergies - wonderful. The Umbria Rosso is also a very good choice. Highly recommend.
Gorgeous place and really lovely helpful staff. But the music was so so so loud even at 7pm that you couldn’t have any kind of conversation, even when shouting. Both my starter and main were very overcooked. I left most of my main. Great cocktails...though!More
