We booked Haveli for my daughter's engagement party as a private function. Bikash was the manager in charge of the event. All the guests complimented the restaurant for the hospitality and service of the staff and the excellent food. Bikash went above and beyond to...set up the venue for the day, respond to enquiries promptly and to ensure the event ran smoothly on the day. The guests said they wouldn't hesitate to visit Haveli again and we will definitely be returning soon!More
We were celebrating a birthday, family of 8 and 1st time at the Havili. The staff are fantastic. We received a very warm welcome and attentive service throughout the meal. 6 of us opted for the set menu and 2 a la carte. The food...was amazing ! So fresh, tasty and so much of it ! Having wanted to visit this restaurant for some time, I booked it for a group of 6 family members as I was celebrating my big birthday and having looked at many reviews I simply couldn’t wait to go. The restaurant on Radcliffe Road Nottingham was...easy to get to and on entering the restaurant we were greeted immediately by a lovely member of staff and took to our table. Every member of staff were in traditional dress and looked fabulous. The restaurant itself is decorated with gorgeous touches which almost transport you away to somewhere exotic. The tables were beautiful with really nice touches which just added to the whole experience. Our-drink orders were taking which very quickly arrived, Cobra being on draft which was perfect. Staff arrived to say ‘Happy Birthday’ to me which was really nice and our orders were took. The menu isn’t extensive but what an array of dishes to choose from and we couldn’t wait. Now this is when this fabulous restaurant came into its own…. Wow! a line of staff came from the kitchen carrying our starters, dry ice coming from each plate of food, OMG, the drama was immense, it’s was truly fabulous. It really was a shame to eat this beautiful food that had been carved to perfection and placed lovingly causing a stunning picture on each plate. We were all mesmerised at the table, such an experience being served by the most attentive staff I have ever been fortunate to be around. Our main meal was glorious and again attention to the detail played a major part in the service provision of the amazing staff. Wow, what a meal, traditional Indian curry that no other Indian restaurant in the area can compete with. The food served here is 5 * Why on earth would you go anywhere else? Tambourines and drums sounded and every member of staff came to our table to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ with instruments in hand and a birthday cake with candles, how fabulous it was. Now this is fine dining at its best, the food is pure perfection, the staff were outstanding and couldn’t have welcomed us any better. It was truly an experience I will never forget. Outstanding Sunday set menu meal. Excellently presented starters. Such a fantastic variety of main courses on the set menu. We went for the non-veg between 2 and then veg between 2 and was more than generous and was superb.
It was our first visit to Haveli today. We stopped on our way back from Newark, and I’m so glad we did. The food was full of flavour and beautifully present. It was absolutely delicious. It’s a little on the pricey side, for where it...is. Every member of staff was really friendly and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be back.More
Lovely people, but poor value for money especially given the atmosphere is always going to be limited by the fact its a converted little chef. Very expensive restaurant. Food is good but not anywhere near what you'd expect for the money.
Excellent place for a family dinner. Had the set menu. All food perfect and a good variety. Staff very attentive and help make the birthday event with their band. Fully recommended. Only possible issue was a bit slow on the courses and the meal took...2 and a half hours. Did not bother us but could upset some.More

Food was fantastic, great set menu deal allows a taste of 5 different starters and 5 different mains, rice and the best fresh naans all for £29.95 per person. May only be available for early diners from 5-6pm but just check. Staff were very attentive...and really friendly, dressed the part too. Fine dining at it's best. If you like Indian food with style, this is the place.More
