About
Sobar is the alcohol-free alternative cafe-bar venue for everyone; offering superb food, drink and original entertainment in a vibrant and welcoming environment. Sobar has been developed by Double Impact, the Nottingham-based drug and alcohol recovery charity with the support of a grant from the Big Lottery Fund. The initial concept for Sobar came from the users of Double Impact services who found that one of the main barriers to their recovery was social isolation and the lack of places to go that are alcohol free, particularly in the evenings and weekends. Went out of our way to try this place today, wish we hadn't. Coffee not great and both the wife and me said the toilets needs a good clean. Tried once but not again.
