Called in after a morning at the opticians and a retail therapy trip, have to admit Mrs H and Lucy are more the fans of Las Igs than I however it's growing on me. We had the Express lunch (or the lunch deal) with a couple or four cocktails for the aforementioned Mrs H and Lucy - just Under the... More

great for a night our when there is a group of you as the atmosphere helps make the night. The food is good and the drinks quite large for the amount you pay.

Stopped off for our first visit on a busy shopping Saturday in Nottingham, situated in the old ABC cinema. Pleasantly surprised to see Las Iguanas not noisy and at the time just quiet adults talking and eating. The service is was you expect - courtesy, efficient and personable. The food - a Cuban sandwich - pull pork etc on a... More

Came with my daughter and again it was a fantastic meal. It's not the cheapest place to go but delicious. One had the chicken fajitas and the other had the xinxim, both were excellent and worth the visit. The fajitas came with sizzling chicken, wraps, sour cream, salsa, jalapeño and guacamole, we also order a side of fries, the xinxim... More

Visiting Nottingham we arrived 45 minutes early for lunch that had been booked - but it wasn't a problem. I requested a gluten free menu and was amazed at the choice - because I don't eat meat I usually find my choices limited. The food was e xcellent - can definitely recommend the gluten free dough balls for starter with... More

No booking and last minute, but accommodating staff found a table and ensured we were served in time to get to our theatre booking. Food and drinks served were super and the bill not frightening for a city centre restaurant. Will need to go again to try some of the other cuisine.

Had a last minute family get together due to a health crisis- it's not easy finding a restaurant in town on a Saturday night that can accommodate vegans and children! Booked Las Iguanas online, when we arrived the table was ready, but was a high table- not suitable for children in high chairs, but without us asking they immediately found... More

A party of 8 we went for early dinner. We were quickly taken to a table and our waitress Amy explained the various dishes and gave us some recommendations. I ordered the Cuban sandwich off lunch time menu; great value adding a glass of reasonably priced wine. Some of the team had tapas which looked fab. The Cuban sandwich was... More

We visited last Saturday and we could see that the restaurant was extremely busy. Having said that, the staff were attentive and nothing was too much. As this was our first visit we had lots of questions about the dishes. Our waiter had some great recommendations and I thoroughly enjoyed my Coconut Chicken. We can't wait to go back. We... More

Waited 20 mins before they took our order. Then another 35 mins before we got served. Food was ok but honestly given the restaurant was half empty we didn't expect to wait this long. Ordered a non alcoholic cocktail only to be informed after waiting 15 mins that they had run out of apple juice. Decided not to order dessert... More

Walk through the doors of Las Iguanas and find yourself transported to Latin America, full of rich, vibrant colours, quirky features and custom-made wooden mosaic tables made especially for the restaurant from sustainable woods in Brazil. Each restaurant is unique and the staff love bringing unusual things back from their travels, ranging from large lobster sculptures to giant drums. The philosophy of Las Iguanas is to serve delicious and authentic Latin American food and drink in an environment which evokes the very best of Latin life. With recipes dating back to the 16th century, the food successfully fuses native Latin American Indian, Spanish, Portuguese and African influences. Working hard to ensure that everything comes from the best possible source, Las Iguanas is proud of its fresh GM free food and top quality ingredients.
