Popped in on the off chance of a table before we went to a show - very obliging waiter found us a table. Food was amazing and service excellent! Nothing too much trouble for our waiter but all staff good. Felt a little rushed towards the end but guess that was due to the fact the table was booked out... More

First visit to Loch Fyne , normally use another sea food restaurant in Nottingham but decided to give Loch Fyne a go. Went there Monday night and whilst not too busy there was a good amount of buzz , Robert ? was our waiter and very pleasant and attentive. 3 of us ate, no starters , mains Malabar curry, seafood... My friend and I had planned a day in Nottingham to see Matthew Bourne's Red Shoes and wanted to have a lovely lunch before the long awaited show. We googled a few nearby restaurants, and although most sounded lovely, we decided, as we both love fish, that we would try Loch Fyne on King Street, Nottingham. We hadn't booked and... More

Fresh and delicious food, with friendly, attentive service from Danny. A really enjoyable experience as we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the Staff were delightful. A warm, welcoming atmosphere, so we'll go back again!

Went with some friends for late lunch....selected from the set menu, 3 courses for £12.95. Started with the chicken terrine followed by the King Prawn Spaghetti, don't know what they put in it but the flavours were fantastic, followed by creme brûlée which was almost as good as my home made one. Wonderful food and fantastic service. Well done!

We enjoy the menu at Loch Fyne and there is a wide range to choose from. A couple of gripes: the tables are closely packed together, the toilets involve a route march downstairs and the restaurant can sometimes be cold. So if you do refurb in the future Loch Fyne, please bear these points in mind, But the staff seem... More

We went here on a Friday night. The service was good. The food was fantastic, hot and tasty, there was no objections when I explained I only had a small appetite, in me having a child's meal. The only disappointment was, they had a stock problem, most of the drinks we asked for, they didn't have due to a delivery... More

Ate recently here with my wife, didn't book but still accommodated which was good to say how busy it was and the staff were very welcoming; had 3 courses which were all great, oysters taste fresh and look great when brought out with the tequila, all food looked and tasted really high quality and drink options were different and varied,... I knew for a while i was going to have my birthday dinner here after having a birthday dinner here for my 26th birthday, and yet again i could not fault the food and service. One of my friends cannot eat gluten and the staff were fantastic with their recommendations for her and reassuring that because everything is freshly cooked... More

We have visited Loch Fyne on a number of occasions in the past, but this is the first review. We were pleasantly surprised at the overall quality and price point in the restaurant, and both enjoyed the meal very much indeed. 3 courses per person, plus drinks came to £30 a head - very reasonable for this quality of food....
