A really exceptional meal. Flavours out of this world in a cosy setting. Excellent service from Georgia who had great knowledge of the food and drink with a professional and friendly manner.
Excellent savoury plates and good wines - all the deserts however were disappointing and if it hadn't been that we were the last customers in the restaurant so most of the staff had gone I would have sent them back - the treacle tart had...liquorice in it and was unpleasant - the compote with the pannacota tasted like it had balsamic vinegar in and was so overpowering as to be inedible - the third desert was non-specific and bland - only the churros were edible and nice - A shame as the rest of the food was great - especially liked the mushrooms, the celeriac and fish- staff lovely and ambience great.More
Been many many times in the past …. Back in the day the menu was much bigger with a good variety of seafood, veggie and meat dishes. Now only 13 main dishes to choose from with a lot of old time favourites gone like the...squid, peppers with honey and hazelnuts. In the past it didn’t matter what you ordered off the menu, every dish was utterly amazing in its own right and I could totally understand how it had achieved it’s Michelin Bib. I’m sorry to say it just isn’t that good anymore. The croquettes were over cooked with the coating being too thick and crunchy as they were a little overdone… they should literally ooze and melt in your mouth. Catalan bread good, and cheese and meat board you can’t really go wrong with. Lamb balls were nothing special, cured salmon was good, mushrooms nice but a bit of a cheat when you are literally putting sauce on it to flavour it and it’s the same sauce as the chicken wings so if you order both they will taste literally like the same dish which is just too rich and too much. Had to send the pork back primarily because it was dry but the flavours weren’t anything special and didn’t sing like the dishes used to. Bring back the beef onglets with the truffle! Your old dishes were worthy of your bib but the food now just isn’t at all unfortunately. Sorry but as people who have eaten here for over fifteen years we have to be honest.More
My husband and I visited on the 7th of October for lunch to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were brilliant, excellent customer service and the food was amazing. Every dish was delicious and we really enjoyed the experience. We had been previously with family in...January this year to celebrate my husbands birthday and the experience then was also perfect. If you want to go somewhere where you are guaranteed to have a delicious meal with a great atmosphere then would highly recommend coming here.More
Thank you for your wonderful review! We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed celebrating your anniversary and your husband's birthday with us, so far, this year. See you again soon to try our next menu :)
Had dinner here last night and really enjoyed it. Between two of us we had eight dishes and three were good - the tuna, the courgette & hummus and the pork loin; three were great - the bread, the croquettes, the salted caramel dessert; one...was fantastic - the cured salmon; and one was one of the best dishes we've had - the tomato and ricotta. Overall the food was excellent. Service was great and the atmosphere was fine - I really liked the room. Best though was that it was really good value for money. Definitely worth trying if you've not been and I'd travel a long way for that tomato dish and the cured salmonMore
What a review - thank you very much, Tim! We are thrilled to hear you loved your selection of dishes, we are changing our menu again soon so hope to welcome you back to try our next dozen+ seasonal creations :)
Just ate at Iberico World Tapas tonight. Meal was average to good and wait staff very good but the manager has serious issues and is probably in the wrong profession. We walked in at 5:00. He said he couldn’t seat us in the restaurant because...all the tables were reserved so seated us in the balcony area by the door. At the end of our meal and when we we’re about to leave (at 6:50) I asked why he had refused to seat us in the main dining area as the entire restaurant was empty except for one table. He still insisted every table was booked. When I tried to explain he could have limited our time at a table he said I was unreasonable and followed me out of the restaurant yelling ‘some people have jobs’ Don’t know who owns the restaurant but they need to seriously look at this manager and ask themselves how much damage he is doing to their restaurant’s reputation! Needless to say I will not return and advise everyone to give it a miss because should any issues arise while dining there, this manager is not going to be willing to resolve them.More
We went to Iberico for my parents anniversary dinner tonight. We hadn’t made a reservation as we were visiting family and unsure of what time we’d finish but were assured earlier that we’d get a table on a weekday night without a problem. We showed...up at 5:05 to a completely empty restaurant and were met by a manager who looked unimpressed by us and clearly didn’t think much about not having a reservation. We were told we could only sit in the higher tier of the restaurant closer to the front door. We asked if it was possible to sit somewhere in the actual restaurant and were promptly told ALL spaces were booked so it wasn’t possible with no flexibility. We left at 6:50 and the ENTIRE restaurant was still empty with the exception of a table for two. My mum asked about this since we were declined a table and the manager was EXTREMELY aggressive, called my mother disrespectful, and even followed us out of the building yelling! As for the food…. It was just ok. Maybe once they got a Michelin mention they thought they could justify the price but it was clearly expensive for what is was. I’ve had much better tapas (and food in general) for way less money and the cocktails were also weak. I’m not really sure how they’ve gotten quite so many good reviews. The thick sauces covered any real culinary skill (similar to a good Chinese takeaway) We obviously will not be returning and I will be letting all my friends and family in Nottingham know. I will say our wait staff was extremely friendly and professional.More
I visited here on the afternoon of the 2 September with my daughter. We’d been looking for somewhere where we could “nibble and chat” We ordered the express menu which was amazing value. I have to agree with a previous post that the mushrooms were...amazing and so was the bruschetta. We also had the lamb, chorizo and pork. It was all fabulous with a load of different flavours. We also ordered a portion of patatas bravas which were ok but not amazing. Fabulous white wine and a lovely cocktail for my daughter too, Andrew was delightful and passionate about the restaurant and my daughter is thinking about booking for her 30th birthday. I can’t wait to return,More
Such a lovely review, thank you! We are so glad to hear we could be the perfect place for a "nibble and chat" :) We look forward to seeing you again soon and to help your daughter celebrate her 30th birthday.
This new menu is out of this world! Every dish was delicious with its own unique flavours, it made it hard to pick a favourite but i’d have to say the crispy mushrooms in bulgogi sauce were just the best! The staff were amazing, very...friendly and could tell you everything you needed to know about each dish. Thank you, we’ll definitely be back! :)More

Dined here at the weekend having visited a few times in the past. Great selection of dishes on offer. Particularly enjoyed fish special, special deserts and banana caramel desert. Service swift and friendly despite being quite busy.
Thanks for the great review of your recent visit - we are so glad to hear you enjoyed our menu plus our special dishes! We hope to welcome you back again soon :)
A truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. The front of house staff were knowledgeable and helped me choose gluten free dishes. The food was excellent, particularly the tuna skewers and the sweet potato dish. My husband really liked the cured salmon. The trio of...deserts were delicious accompanied by a pudding wine recommended by the chef. The prices are really fair for what was exceptional food. We will be back soon.More
Thank you for your wonderful review, Linda! We are thrilled to hear you thoroughly enjoyed your tapas selection and our staff made your evening extra special :) We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Oh no - what's happened to Iberico ?! My wife and I had dinner here last week as we do for a treat from time to time but I have to say it was far from good this time. Most of the food was good...but the usual service level was very much missing. We waited 45 mins for bread & oil - when I asked where it was we were told it takes time to cut the bread ? This was after some mumbling about 'ringing it through'. I think someone might have forgotten to put our order though and it got picked up when we asked where it was but there was no communication. One of the dishes - a corn fritter with crab was definitely over cooked which we had to point out. We were told 'that's how it is' and then left to it. To be fair, a guy with a bit more experience spoke to us some more and explained that we'd waited too long and that other people had also complained about that dish. His communication really helped the situation and he knocked the starters and the overdone main off the bill so all's well etc. However - the attitude of some of the junior staff service was really disappointing this time. Go for Bar Iberico instead - had a much better night here a few weeks ago.More

Oh dear, very weary of English "tapas" restaurants, given they charge main course prices for a starter, or smaller size plate of food. But world Iberica take this to another level . £13 for 5 average size prawns . Food was average at best, some...odd combinations . But the pricing is just ridiculous, venue is too dark and lacks atmosphere. Only positive was staff were attentive and friendly.More

We used to absolutely love Iberico but unfortunately it has gone drastically downhill. The menu used to be triple the size, the new menu has very little choice. They have changed the sauce of the inside out chicken wings which doesn’t taste as good. This...place used to be absolutely packed and we went on a weekend evening and it was dead! We were really looking forward to showing family members the place but the new menu and food quality has changed, such a shame. Would like to comment the service was good and the waiters/waitresses are all lovely, but the atmosphere and food is terrible now. Will sadly not be returning to what used to be our favourite place.More
