After previous experiences we hadn't ventured here for a while, but decided to try again. Wow! Just wow! Service greatly improved, food amazing, and very comfortable surroundings. Visited a few times over winter and was not disappointed. Would recommend.

As an avid Morse/Lewis fan we called in here on the way to our holiday destination in the Cotswold's. The pub is situated next to the River Cherwell, so thought that this would be a great place to sit and relax after a long drive...More

Nicely tucked away a little off the beaten path unless you come by punt. Great pie and chips. Interesting history and very attentive helpful service. Quiet evening though.

We had a great time having drinks and snacks in front of a roaring fire at Oxford’s Victoria Arms. Friendly service, plenty of parking, comfortable seating.
