We stopped here for lunch on my way to the Cheltenham Park Hotel earlier this year. I had a ham sandwich and my daughter had chicken. Around £7 for a sandwich seemed a bit steep but oh boy what a sandwich! Amazing gammon on doorstep white bread with fries and side salad was amazing. My daughters chicken was equally amazing.... I have passed this restaurant/inn/hotel so many times, have noticed the sign saying Fish & Chips to take away, but never stopped, rushing ahead to meet friends in Burford or beyond. Today there was a traffic jam due to road works, I was peckish and so stopped. What a fantastic surprise. I felt at home as soon as I walked... More

We were hungry and looking for a good feed. We were welcomed by a very positive and outgoing bar & dining assistant. We tried a couple of fish dishes and were not disappointed. The Thai curry & fish & chips were both very nice. These were complemented by some lovely white wines from France & New Zealand. Chunky chips would... More

Old English bar look and feel, very cosy and very friendly staff. We stopped here for breakfast and loved the kipper on the menu.

I stopped at the 'Inn For All Seasons' whilst passing Burford on the A40 on my way to Wales from Oxford. It's located about 1 mile from the centre of Burford close to the turning off the A40 for Little Barrington. It was a damp foggy morning and I was enticed into the Inn by the signage outside that said... More

The staff were nice and friendly, that was the only good bit. Fish and chips was £15.50 each, I expected something truly mouthwatering. We got a cod fillet in seasoned breadcrumbs, on a bed of french fries (not chips) some microwave peas in a pot and some tarter sauce. It was ready 10 minutes after ordering, so not much fresh... Ate here for all three meals while staying one night - totally not like me at all - I like to try somewhere different each meal - but after seeing the menu at lunch we all decided to have dinner here too. I had partridge and pheasant terrine for lunch - yum! And duck (3 ways) for dinner which included... More

We stopped here for a mid-morning coffee and chose two cappuccinos from the menu at a cost of £3.50 a cup. Service was a bit slow and when the coffee arrived it was a mass of flavourless luke-warm foam with a bit of brown fluid at the bottom, probably the product of a one-touch machine. The whole place seemed a... More

Thank you for your review Lynne. We hope you asked the waiter for another coffee. We usually get great reviews for our Cappuccinos. Please ask for one on the house next time you are passing! More
