Local ingredients and suppliers of fine foods are showcased here. The menu reflects the locality and brings a much appreciated fine dining option to the town. The space is a bit cramped and the decor a little whimsical but the service is spot on and...More

We came here for dinner after the panto at Chipping Norton theatre and had a lovely evening. The food was excellent - lots of interesting local ingredients including pigeon, partridge and venison, all elegantly presented. We couldn’t really dig into the wine list as we...More

Our second visit to this cosy restuarant and we weren't disappointed. We chose the December fixed menu which was an exciting 3 course meal to look forward to and we also chose the recommended wine. The starter - a variety of smoked trout, mackerel, salmon...More

We both enjoyed every element of our three course meals here. It is a small restaurant and this was our second trip here, but I do hope it not will be our last. They made eating out gluten free both easy and a delight with...More

What a great restaurant! We read the reviews and wondered if it would be "stuffy" given the food is "high end." Quite the contrary - the wait person (who owns the restaurant with her husband, who is the chef) is VERY friendly and helpful. She...More

Thank you for your interest in Wild Thyme. We vary our menu and have steak on from time to time. It is not currently on our winter menu with venison offered as the red meat option. Regards
