The slightly garish exterior of this establishment conceals a well-appointed restaurant with high quality table linen, real flowers on each table and a welcoming atmosphere. The Thai dishes we chose were beautifully prepared and presented. The depth of flavours was truly exceptional. Accompanied by a decent Chenin Blanc at reasonable cost, the whole experience was most enjoyable, aided by superb service from Sujon, the duty manager.

Four of us had a walk in meal here and it was really quite good. We were greeted by a small chap who had a beaming smile and a good sense of humour. As usual, popadoms with pickles etc. For a change I had onion Bhaji for starters. Cooked to perfection, four on the plate and accompanied by some salad and mint raita. I had chicken dupiaza for main which was excellent. Loads of onions. It tasted beautiful. A Peshawari NaN accompanied it and we had a sag aloo and a Bombay aloo alongside. All cooked to perfection. It was all washed down with a couple of Cobra beers, lovely. They do a special banquet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays which is good value. I shall look to go on one of those days next time to give it a go again.

Visited on a Tuesday evening for what they call feast night. There is a fixed price for a starter / main meal with a £3 supplement if fish / prawns chosen which seems reasonable.
They also have the option of Thai or Indian cuisine.
They have taken some COVID measures. All the waiters wearing masks, social distancing between tables. Not much sign of any hand gel and sadly, the menus looked positively tired in their old plastic covers. We’ve eaten out quite a few times recently and they should consider some paper menus which can be thrown away, even if only a temporary hygiene measure.
The choice of drinks was good and the 5 of us all enjoyed the food.
Nice touch of bringing some small chocolates with the bill.
As it was a ‘eat out to help out’ evening, the bill was very reasonable.
Not good enough for a 5* rating, but will certainly go again.

This restaurant was highly recommended by our son, so we decided to give it a try...we were not disappointed. Nice welcome by the staff on arrival, they were happy to give advice on the menu and adjust degree of ‘heat’ according to preferences. Even the choice of 5 dips with the popadoms was an improvement on the 3 that our usual restaurant offers.
I ordered the fish tikka lasooni which was excellent and we were impressed with the tarka Dhal(lentils) and the sag aloo. It was all well cooked with just the right amount of spice / heat for my liking.
Great team of staff and the owner took the time to come and chat with us and ensure everything was OK.
Everything, including the drinks seemed very reasonably priced. They also provide a take away service.
Easily deserves a 5* rating in my opinion, and will certainly be returning soon.

We wanted an Indian meal, and were not disappointed. Poppadoms were good, the garlic naan was very tasty, and the duck and lamb jalfrezi was wonderful with the perfect amount of heat. The owner/manager was very friendly, and service was attentive.
Restaurant atmosphere was a little bland/cold for my taste, perhaps because there only 2 other couples in at the same time as us.

We ordered and paid over the phone so it was a contactless delivery which we appreciated. The person taking our order was very helpful. We are staying on a local holiday park so needed to collect the delivery at reception. This was not a problem as the restaurant phoned us twice to update us on the exact time of delivery so we didn't have to wait around.
When the food arrived it was piping hot, clearly labelled so we knew whose was whose and was absolutely delicious. (We had the Thai menu). My husband went as far as to say the best takeaway he's had for a long time.
We would definitely recommend and will be ordering again when back in the area. There is also an Indian menu so we might try that next time.

Extremely disappointed. We ordered a Thai curry and an Indian curry dish, it was truly the worst Asian food I ever had. The Thais dish was between Thai and Indian, with some watery sauce. I was put off by it for Asian food for weeks, and I am Asian!

This is my absolute favourite take out in Henley.
The staff are all gorgeously amazing.
Their hospitality and personalised attention to detail is not even comparable to, quite honestly, any other hospitality I’ve received in Henley.
The food is fresh, hence there may be a waiting time, but for food made so freshly with quality ingredients- I’m not complaining.
The Chicken Palak is my new favourite and unbelievably tasty.
Give these guys, they’re really seriously outstanding.

We've used Asiana Spice quite a few times and in particular for takeaway meals during the lockdown period. It's always been good, the menu offers a comprehensive range of different food styles and the quality of the food is great. We decided to have another takeaway this evening and the quality of the food was excellent, a real pleasure. Coupled with the ease of ordering and the great communication it's somewhere we'd absolutely recommend.

Great company from the phoned in order, pre-delivery phone call notification, Delivery and fab food. Lamb sag, chicken Tikka Dupiaza, Asiana Chicken were all delicious with good portions and plenty of meat and not swimming in grease. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely takeaway for a family of four. It was the first time we have tried Asiana Spice and we were extremely pleased. Large portion sizes. It lasted us for 2 days and we’re almost certain it tasted better the next day. The children shared a Korma which was perfectly flavoured for them. The Asiana naan bread was a personal favourite. The staff were absolute lovely when my husband and daughter went to collect. We will definitely be back.

Food was ok - Tom Ka soup was ordered but Tom Yum was served, 2x sticky rice was ordered but only one came, the other being plain basmati. There was also a little bit of a sharp practice going on with the menu showing Lassi at £2.60 but the bill showing £4.95 ‘because you had large.’ It was resolved but was annoying nonetheless. Service was very slow given the number of staff on and that there was only us and a table of 4 that had finished and we’re just nattering. It’s a shame because we went there specifically for the Thai cuisine.

Our favourite Asian Restaurant in Henley (Spice Merchant is also excellent but more for a special occasion).
Super friendly welcome (ALWAYS), great service and excellent food (we have the Indian, rather than the Thai dishes).
Really can’t fault Asiana Spice - we’ve been regular customers for years - so a little surprised by some of the other reviews on here. Each to their own I guess.

Picked up a take away from here and was very impressed with their attentiveness and hygiene measures. We had Thai green curry and duck in tamarind with rice. The food tasted ok average not outstanding but the next day both my husband and myself felt sick for the first few hours of the day. We would not go here again.

Absolutely excellent food! Both Indian and Thai dishes exceptional quality, freshness and flavour. The best we have found for many years in Henley area. Staff friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough. Takeaway always freshly cooked, hot and generous portions for price. We love this restaurant!
