We tried this tea room for afternoon tea. I had a cream tea but found the size of the scones very disappointing. They were a little bigger than an old penny. After living in Cornwall and Devon for a large chunk of my life, I...More

I took a group of 7 People for afternoon tea to Upstairs Downstairs. I was a little hesitant because I'd heard extremely mixed reviews from people I know who have been before When we arrived at 4pm the place was empty except for two other...More

I love Henley and visit it on monthly basis. This tearoom is, in my opinion, at the best spot in town, and probably the prettiest. I have been to the tearoom a few times but always hesitate, as it always seems busy and the service...More

I was expecting a quaint experience which is what we received. I did not expect it to be tired and a little shabby. Disappointing

Lovely afternoon tea with my wife. We were welcomed by a very friendly chap before moving on upstairs where we had a beautifully baked scone with tea. The service couldn't be better. Highly recommended.

Four of us were recommended to visit this establishment. We ordered a mix of soup and sandwiches and scones with clotted cream and jam. The soup was tasty but lukewarm but the sandwiches were four finger of different fillings, these were good. My wife felt...More

This place is quite simply a delight, none of your chain coffee shops with throw away cups, soya milk lattes and over priced sandwiched and pastries. This is an oasis of quiet peaceful charm, with old-fashioned delightful service, great teas served in proper china at...More

This is a very cute tea room up above the street in the centre of Henley. The food was excellent - very fresh & tasty and plenty of it too. We had the Duchess tea which had sandwiches, scones & a slice of cake. The...More
