We are avid fans of Pie. Consider us the unofficial Pie Patrol. We try the pie at every opportunity throughout the UK. By far the prize for a pie with chicken as the centerpiece goes to the Three Tuns. I literally dream about my next...More

Chose to here solely on the tripadvisor reviews! Which didn't let us down! We've never visited Henley- on- Thames before so wanted to try somewhere recommended. We both had the burger ... which were amazing. For dessert I had the chocolate and guiness brownie and...More

We called in for evening meal on the spur of the moment and also because we had heard earlier in the week that this place was about to close. I had muscles to start, again beautifully cooked with a half a baguette. For main I...More

Had a really good meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere with very good service. However, the seating was very uncomfortable with the seats having very little back support. I would say we are both tall which obviously made a difference.

Superb pies, with a Gluten Free potato topped option for me. The staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. The pub has two fires that keep the rooms at a nice temperature. Will be visiting again for their Sunday lunch soon.

Description
Opened by Mark and Sandra Duggan in May 2011 what once was a run down and unloved pub has now become a charming and popular drinking and dining spot for locals and visitors alike. The front bar is charming with wood panelled walls and old brewery photos of a bygone era and has a roaring open fire during the winter months. The intimate dining room is classic and cosy and the newly refurbished terrace offers the perfect spot for outdoor dining with rattan furniture and large parasols in a tranquil setting. There is also the Stable Bar at the rear of the property which offers a private dining space for up to 32 people. The food itself is all freshly prepared by chef Mark and his team and offers the best of pub classics along with more modern dishes using seasonal and where possible local produce. That teamed with friendly, informative and efficient service has got The Three Tuns recommended in the 2013 Michelin Guide. The Tuns certainly has something to offer everyone...
