We had an excellent meal here with a selection of tapas. Each dish was very tasty. The only disappointment was that the service which started well, deteriorated during the evening to the point where we cancelled our dessert after a very long wait.

We were really looking forward to our dinner here but the food was genuinely bad. We ordered a variety of the vegetarian tapas and all but the potatoes were not just tasteless, they actually weren’t good. For example the spinach balls were just balls of...deep fried watery frozen spinach - no salt, spices, flavour. That was common for all the dishes, poor quality and no flavour. Real shame because the reviews were really good and it was packed on the Saturday night.More
Nice Tapas food and a varied menu on offer. The portion sizes were good so we got a lot of food for our money. The service was good also, however it was a quiet Sunday evening so wasn't hard to keep everyone happy. However the...venue itself was cold and we had to throw coats on halfway through, so a bit of heating would not go amiss, but other that would reccomend.More
Came here a week or so ago with my family, and the place was packed. the atmosphere was great, but we felt rushed. One of us has a severe gluten allergy and we were disappointed to see that options marked as gluten free on the...menu (like the padron peppers) were actually not gluten free, because of cross contamination in oil. Also, there were several waiters who served us so we had to explain multiple times - but they were all really keen to help us and took it very seriously, checking dishes with the chef for us so that was nice. The food came out quickly (maybe too quickly… microwave?) and it was generally fine but quite dry. The chicken in cream sauce was particularly dry but the sauce was quite tasty. The portion sizes were ok but not as big as we might have anticipated from the price. The best thing was the asparagus in parma ham. I would recommend going when they’re less busy!More
We were looking to come here since January and really looking forward to some delicious tapas after reading the reviews. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. We had 3 different starters and paella black rice - none of the dishes tasted of anything. You know...it’s bad when everything comes with aioli on the side to add flavour! Would not return here.More
My husband and I visited on a dark snowy November evening and this tapas restaurant was a real find completely by chance. We are missing our regular visits to Spain and this place reminded us why. We tried six different delicious tapas all washed down...by a bottle of lovely La Mancha wine and enjoyed them all. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the decor was typically Spanish. If we lived closer, we would definitely be going back but unfortunately we are nearly 50 miles away.More
The Food was well below standard our party of 5 adults and one teenager were so disappointed we will never return it was so bad
Ate here as a party of 6, had a lovely time, the sangria & food was excellent, would definately eat here again.
Me and my husband booked a week in advance to come here tonight. We arrived 5 minutes early, there were only 2 tables occupied at the time of our arrival. The lady found our booking and said we could sit by the entrance door on...a tiny table with 2 stalls. We asked if we could have a table in the restaurant area as we had booked a week in advance. Another waitress arrived and said we could sit in the garden. We said we didn’t want to sit in the garden and her response was “well there’s nothing we can do”. There was no apology at all and they just shrugged their shoulders. We decided to leave and have been left disgusted by the service and utterly disappointed. We got ready and got the train into town so we could enjoy a drink together with our meal. Instead we have been left back at home with a takeaway, a complete waste of our time. They clearly didn’t care and wasn’t at all willing to help or accommodate. To not even apologise left us feeling totally frustrated. I could completely understand if we had come in on the off chance but to book a week in advance isn’t acceptable. The two ladies sat close by said they had also done the same to them, a real shame as we were really looking forward to trying this restaurant.More
The restaurant is lovely and quaint, we sat outside in their garden space and it was a lovely setting. You feel transported to Spain when you walk in. All the alcohol is spanish sourced and the waiters were spanish so the experience is very thorough....The food itself was gorgeous, we ordered 3 tapas each for 2 of us which is plenty as we did not finish it all. Ratings as follows: - Spinach and Blue Cheese Balls (6/10) - very rich and delicious, lovely textures. - Aubergine Pate (7/10) - it would be nice to have more bread with this for the amount of Pate but really beautiful flavour and goes very well with black pepper. - Chicken in cream sauce (6/10) - this was nice but not an explosion of flavour. - Lamb in white wine sauce (10/10) - Amazing, flavourful and deliciously soft slow cooked lamb. - Octopus Legs (11/10!!) - Delicious, definitely don't miss out on this one. - Deep fried Goats Cheese with Honey (10/10) - Rich, creamy, flavourful and gentle all at one. Really lovely. The restaurant was very accommodating with timing, the wine was fantastic and the staff were super friendly :) I am already planning my next visit.More
