The place has amazing smoothies. It is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. A perfect spot to stop for a snack, smoothie or a bite to eat.
AMAZING! Went here for breakfast and it was lovely. I am celiac and had the most delicious meal and a couple gluten and dairy free cakes to go! The owner was great with taking me through the menu and so accommodating. I will definitely be...going back soon.More
A gem of a cafe in Oxford city centre. Very friendly greeting from the owners and an excellent selection of food for lunch. We needed gluten free options and also vegetarian and it was easy to order. Food was delicious, fresh and served in good...time, even though the cafe was quite busy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good quality lunch or brunch. Also had a large selection of cakes.More
A fantastic Cafe I have used before. The food is freshly prepared, the choice super delicious. Very locally and organic sourced ingredients make for a healthy lunch, too. Today I have halloumi and olives with tomatoes and pesto on sourdough. Such good value for money,...too. The portions are very generous and taking some hone in a paper bag no problem.More
What a dabulous find. Quality foid, knowing you can get confident in its origins. Excelkebt avacardo ALT sandwich. My husband had a oesto cheese and tomato. Superb expresso too.
I am hugely obese, and getting larger. Some have suggested this is due to my enormous consumption of 'junk food', especially a daily full English with all the trimmings. I decided to try going organic - this is the place. Good for me, as I...chowed down but felt better. I still look like the side of a house, but would recommend this gaff. I also take childish delight, in the location - 'Friar's Entry" - which sounds like sordid pre-reformation innuendo. Cheers from Geoff! Easy on the blood sauce!More
I called into this Cafe to check its whereabouts as I'd spotted it on the Stasher app and hoped to leave my case here next day, and was tempted by the comprehensive menu and the quality of the food on display to order breakfast. I...enjoyed the very good coffee and toast with butter and delicious berry jam, and had a bit of a chat with the very friendly proprietor and felt happy about leaving my luggage in his care. Next morning I returned with my daughter (and my case) and we couldn't resist buying slices of banana bread and apple cake to take on our booked walk around lovely Oxford - we thoroughly enjoyed both the cakes and the walk :) We'll definitely return to the Organic Deli next time we're in Oxford.More
I was disappointed to learn that the food served in the cafe isn’t all organic. I am always looking for places to eat which are reliably organic, and if this cafe was I would become a regular customer. Since the food is a mixture, I...don’t see the particular benefit of coming here versus any other cafe.More
Good Evening. We spoke briefly about this when you came in to see us, i received and responded to your private message on messenger with more detail, explaining how in recent months its become more difficult to remain consistent on some components of some of...More
Delicious!! Had the new English with gluten free toast and almond milk latte... wish i lived in Oxford as I'd be here all the time! Thank you!!!
Absurdly overpriced and super rude member of staff. As we walked through the door a member of staff was watering the plants directly overhead. I only realised this was the case as we walked into the shop and was splattered with foul smelling water. We...persevered as had been unsuccessful finding a place to have a coffee with a gluten free cake, otherwise would have left and gone elsewhere. We ordered and took a seat upstairs. The place was empty and we took a fancy to the table infront of the window - firstly it was next to the window and secondly it was the best table to seat all four of us. Typically it was covered in spilt coffee and dirty plates. The lady who was still watering the plants totally ignored our request to sit at that table. So we cleared it ourselves and got some paper towels from the loo to clean it up. The lady finished watering the plants, slammed the window shut and waltzed off. As she had already ignored us we were not going to attempt to get her attention again to ask if we could open the window, and as the only customers we did not see an issue with the window being opened. So i opened the window and she promptly returned and slammed it shut. So petty and a disgusting behaviour towards a customer. We overheard her discussing the windows being opened by us with a colleague which was also incredibly rude and petty. If this incident had not have happened I would not have minded the extortionate prices, but you cannot charge a fortune and be rude to customers! Will most definitely not return. I should add there was just one bad egg, the other members of staff were all lovely and did their best to compensate for their rude and short sighted colleague.More
Very overrated deli. I had a sandwich with gluten free bread as I am very gluten intolerant. It was awful. The bread was more like cake and like so many GF breads instantly fell apart with the first bite. I had to eat with with...a knife and fork and even then it was near impossible. Two sandwiches, two packets of crisps and two drinks in cans for over £25 ! I know it’s the centre of Oxford but it wasn’t worth the money whatsoever. Avoid if you want a decent Gluten Free lunch !More
Spoilt for choice as a vegetarian, including all day breakfasts, but we chose salad bowls and sweet potato soup which came with really nice bread. It was all delicious, and organic too, and also really competitively priced. The owner was charming and friendly, and really...helpful and careful about a particular allergy. Very nice venue, good but discreet music and interesting art work on the walls, and the shop is pretty impressive too. Look forward to eating there next time we're in Oxford. Thank you!!More
We stopped by after a graduation ceremony for a quick breakfast. We had the avocado toast on GF bread, granola with fruit and yogurt, plain toast, and coffee. The GF toast was good, the granola was too seedy and hard to chew, the coffee was...not great. An OK place for a Quick bite if you are on a gluten free diet and wants something other than gluten free pizza while In Oxford.More
Absolutely loved the place! Everything spot on. From the moment you walked through the door you were made to feel welcome. Very happy and helpful guy behind the counter.(we visited on wed 23rd). He even offered to store our cases if we wanted to look...around Oxford! Breakfast was delicious. We had two different types of Eggs Benedict, one with bacon and one with salmon, and a full English. All dishes delicious, and the best eggs ever. The little shop also had loads of stuff to buy but sadly no room in cases!! Definitely a must visit place in Oxford. Was the perfect start to our visit.More
