Shame that this place has closed - it is now just another store selling Oxford tee shirts. Maybe they'll change their minds and reopen it.

We were looking forward to visiting this cafe. Sadly its now a clothes retailer. Disappointing. There are other cafes worth a visit. Particularly the Vaults and Gradens in Radcliffe Square, not far from where the Buttery should have been.

Access was not easy, however staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and adequate but needs decor updating as does the bathroom. Location was good as hoped. Slightly overpriced for what was available.

I just went in for a coffee and a croissant, and was not disappointed. This is a cute little place with good coffee and a nice atmosphere.

Sat outside in Broad Street after parkrun and enjoyed a perfect cooked breakfast. They got the scrambled eggs and bacon just right. Better than the luxury hotels we stayed at subsequently.

I was touring Oxford College area with a friend and decided to drop in for a cup of tea. Not a fancy setting but it was quaint and cozy. Ordered tea, warm scones and a delightful Welsh Rarebit. Nice local place to take a break.

Good food at a reasonable price, great view too of the university. However what let's this place down is sadly the owner, the way he treated his staff in front of everyone was sadly quite appalling. Borderline xenophobic "my oriental friend", "you need to learn...More
