A wonderful evening at La Kesh. ‘Slim’ and the team were amazing. Great customer service, the team went through the menu, explained their ethos and the origins of the restaurant and menu. The food arrived and it was as described. Freshly prepared and plentiful.
A chance visit and will definitely return when we are next in Oxford.

Thank you Le Kesh for a gorgeous dinner last night on our mums' night out. The Bastilla (chicken in pastry with cinnamon and almonds) was delicious, and so was the mixed grill. I also recommend the fruity mocktail and the Arabic coffee. The staff always go the extra mile to make diners feel welcome. Le Kesh remains my top choice in Oxford for celebratory dinners.

Myself and 5 of my friends went here for a birthday dinner a few nights ago and we couldn’t rate them highly enough! The ambience, food and especially service was incredible! Very reasonably priced for the quality of food and it was lovely to have a waiter who was so attentive and knowledgeable about the food and culture. We will definitely be back again! Thank you!!

We had an early dinner here before an O2 show, we were made to feel very welcome and the menu was well explained to us. Excellent choices on the menu, would have loved to have tried everything. Had the chicken tagine, tasted great and excellent service.

Nine highly satisfied diners - a mix of vegetarians, pescatarians and meat eaters - loved everything about this restaurant. The individual tagine dishes stood out. They are awash with flavour, and served in flamboyant style by the owner, Slim. He is committed to matching you with your most suitable menu choice, and passionate about creating a memorable eating experience. Check out Slim's warm hospitable personality and dry sense of humour. BYO is a refreshingly rare bonus.

Called in without a booking before a gig at the O2 (almost next door) and they managed to fit us in. I'd recommend booking if you're planning a visit as it's very popular and now we know why.
Great food and good portion sizes with a nice selection of Mediterranean style dishes all served by nice friendly staff.
They don't serve alcohol so take your own (no corkage charge and Tescos is across the road) or choose one of there really good alcohol free cocktails.
Will definitely be back!

Myself and friends had a great time at Lekesh. We were greeted and given interesting and useful information about the fusion of the two cuisines (Lebanese and Moroccan) and the menu. The restaurant is authentically decorated and has a nice covered outdoor area at the back. We had the mixed feast starter which was excellent and we all enjoyed our main courses - halloumi risotto, vegetable couscous, moussaka and chicken tagine. Reasonably priced and really handy you can take your own alcohol in too. Thanks Lekesh for a great evening - will be back!

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt as if we were a part of the family, the host was bubbly and keen to advise us on our meal, food was probably the best tagine we've ever eaten, my partner had the lamb and I had the meatball.
The lamb fell off the bone and the spices with the meatballs was amazing.
My partner says the Moroccan tea was the best she's had.
Taking your own drinks is a must if you want alcoholic drinks
Will definitely visit next time we visit Oxford

We had a birthday celebration and preordered feast.
The food was delicious, the staff were very helpful to prepare the celebration, took our cake and balloons prior to a dinner.
The stuff made our celebration special with rasty dishes and amazing service.
Thank you!

We came across this restaurant which looked warm and inviting. The manager and all staff could not do enough for us. We were warmly welcomed and had a fantastic evening. There was four of us and we had a set menu which enabled us to try lots of different starters and main meals. We were not disappointed with any of the dishes we were given. The service was excellent as was the food and the presentation. (we were enjoying the food so much I forgot to take some photos of the main course. We had the option of taking our own drinks but were happy to drink non-alcoholic drinks off the menu. We also tried some of the traditional puddings which were delicious. We felt it was a good price for the meal that we had. Overall I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant and if we lived nearer we would return.

We were only in Oxford for a couple of days and are so glad we chose to eat at Le Kesh. We instantly received a warm welcome from our waiter who told us about the history and ethos of the food they serve. If that sounds like a tedious lecture, it really isn't, it really helped set the tone and help us understand the blend of influences.
The menu is reassuringly small, just the right amount of choice. I went for the Merguez sausages to start and the lamb tagine, my wife went for the calamari and the chicken tagine. All of it was absolutely beautiful, the lamb tagine was a revelation! Two big chunks of lamb shank cooked on the bone, falling apart. Delicious.
They don't serve alcohol but you can take your own, they'll supply wine coolers, open your bottle etc for free.
Highly recommended for the welcome, the ambience, the food, the service, the price, everything.

Really enjoyed dinner at Le Kesh. The food was really nice and the host great, he was funny, very pleasant and friendly.
I had the Le Kesh couscous, very good. My friends decided to go for a set meal for 4. They had quite a few starters and 2 different tagins to share. The restaurant is very beautiful, nicely decorate and cosy.
Pro : you can bring your own wine/ beer
Cons: 12% service charge added to the bill
Price: 3 course meal approx £25
I cannot wait to take my husbands to this new discovery

Good ambience in terms of interior lighting, seating and decor an effort has been made to make you feel you are in Lebanese Restaurant.

I ate at Le Kesh countless times while living in Cowley, and I can say it was comfortably my favorite spot in the neighborhood.
All the tagines are excellent, as are the various couscous. My two go-tos were the lamb and halloumi burger—which was far more interestingly spiced than any other burger you'd get on Cowley Road—as well as the chicken risotto, which in my opinion is best item on the menu. If you're eating at Le Kesh with a group, I'd also highly recommend the Le Kesh Feast — Slim and his staff will go a great job selecting a variety of starters and mains for your group. Everything is prepared from scratch and you can really tell.
But really, you can't go wrong with anything you get from here!!

So authentic and absolutely delicious. We started with hummus and warm eggplant appetizers. Both were incredible; the hummus among the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere in the world. And my wife and I both had tagines that were served piping hot and wonderful, one a fish dish and the other mixed meats.
A restaurant not to be missed and a short taxi ride from downtown.
