Nice spot. Unfussy and great food. Nicely located in the city centre. We had some shots, a pizza and a antipasti board that had really nice mix of sundried and cherry tomatoes in pesto and

Pizza here hits the spot. Rain or shine if hot pizza is what you are looking for and you can’t fine your local dominos because you are no longer in the US this is the place to go. Friendly workers that knowledgeably recommend pizzas. Not a moment of disappointment. Bunny story goes throughout, funny. Any pizza can be a calzone but be warned it’s massive. Lots of love. Ps. the tea in the bathroom is juicy. Sincerely your truly the Americans.

My daughter and I happened upon this pub, which is slightly away from the town centre. We greeted very warmly upon arrival and we told we could sit anywhere we liked. We chose a lovely table in the garden. Each banquette was separated by beautiful boxes full of herbs and plants. As we were sharing a pizza, we decided to order a more expensive one. It was called Fungo Puro and came loaded with wild mushrooms and drizzled with truffle cream and was a bargain for £12.45. The crust was lovely and crispy and the toppings were generous. We were very impressed that the pub sold Appassimento wine by the glass, so we ordered a 175ml glass each and it was very affordable. The service was great and we had a very good lunch. A lovely independent pub that I urge you to visit.

There is a pizza order called the "mad hatter", which allows the chefs to create a pizza based on your preferences, without you knowing what you will get. I am allergic to dairy, and wanted a pizza that would surprise me and be safe for me to eat. When I placed my order, I asked for *only* meat toppings (including tomato puree and VEGAN mozzarella, of course), ticked off my dairy allergy, and awaited my order. What I got was a cheeseless pizza, where the only meat was spicy salami, and it had 2 types of olives and tomatoes on (I profusely dislike tomatoes and olives). Needless to say, my disappoint was immeasurable, and my opinion on the White Rabbit has been soured. The only saving grace for this establishment was the very kind and understanding waitress who was equally as confused as I was to how a pizza this extraordinarily disastrous could've come to fruition, and who asked the chefs to at least odd some vegan mozzarella. They sprinkled the bare minimum on top of the olive and tomato pizza that was supposed to be a meaty treat. If not for this 1 waitress, my review would be 1 star. £13.50 for a pizza that is in no way, shape, or form what I ordered. Absolutely embarrassing.

It was very unclear whether we should find a table or wait to be seated, after a few minutes of waiting we found one ourselves and sat down. We used the app to order, I am coeliac therefore ordered a gluten free pizza, my partner ordered a regular. While I am used to having to wait a bit longer for my food, my partner received his pizza after a 15min wait, and we got mine 40min later. On the app, we selected "no olives"…well…see pic to see how that went. We can appreciate that it was busy, and that special orders such as GF ones may take longer, but that was quite a long wait to end up with olives with a side of not so warm pizza. We considered speaking to a member of staff but the place was so packed, and I didn’t want to have to wait again, we just picked them off. On the + side, my partner said that his pizza was very nice.

There were 4 of us celebrating a friend’s birthday Our starter was delicious! 3 out of 4 of us had to send our main course lunch back as it was tepid and the fish was uncooked. We were offered an alternative main course however having waited for ages for our main course we declined and were offered cheese which we accepted. Then the bill arrived…. We were charged for our offered cheese and bread …. At no time was it suggested if we accepted the offer of cheese instead of delicious fish would we be charged for a cheese course at an exorbitant cost! We paid the bill and left feeling what a disastrous lunch we had experienced I should say our waitress Rose was lovely but it might have been a nice gesture had the manager taken the cost of the cheese off the bill at least. We definitely will not be going back 😩

Hi there - I think you have reviewed the wrong restaurant. We are a pizza pub in Oxford (www.whiterabbitoxford.co.uk). I am so sorry you had a bad experience but am glad Rose treated you well. If you are ever in Oxford and would like excellent pizza and good local beer please feel free to drop by! Your website is so right, when you describe good beers, excellent food and fabulous service. We came for lunch and were spoiled by the excellent attentive and knowledgable service. You serve Great beers with a good choice. Food was out of this world, the choice of toppings was quite authentic and quality, the pizza base was fabulous, crispy and hot. You've won us over, when in Oxford, we now know where to lunch.

We ordered no fewer than 80 pizzas to collect for a college event, and there were no issues to speak of. Despite the huge number they were right on time and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (and the pizzas very tasty too). If they have no problems with 80 pizzas then I can't imagine any issue with a smaller order!

Booked a party of nine for a Saturday lunchtime, and the White Rabbit staff bent over backwards to help us. We were offered a table inside or outside (chose inside), and one of our party was in a wheelchair which was accommodated with no problems. One of our group said they couldn't have cooked cheese (I had no idea, and thought this would be an issue for pizzas) and our server calmly explained that they would cook whatever was wanted. Food arrived in a timely fashion and was all delicious. Good choice of drinks, and the staff were all marvellous. Will definitely revisit.

This was my first visit to The White Rabbit as I had heard a lot of good things about the venue and they catered for a variety of dietary options. I had pre-booked a take in advance because we were a large group. When I got there, there were lots of other people sitting in the area where we were booked into (I did not realize that the whole space was meant for us until later). It was a good thing some people in the group did not show up otherwise there was no way we would have all fit. This should be managed better. The atmosphere inside was very loud and noisy from as early as 6:30 pm on a Friday night which was not what I expected/ ideal for conversations. However, on to the food. The Diavola pizza was delicious. I loved the thin pizza base. Highly recommend- the enter group with various dietary requirements were very happy with their pizza. Overall, great food. Not a fan of the atmosphere and was not impressed with the general cleanliness of the inside of the venue.

The heated seats outside are a great touch making the pub a practical pandemic option. It's handy that they have lights outside to show when the toilets are occupied. However, the food, service and covid measures are nowhere near as good as they were before the last lockdown. Firstly, I felt they were lax on the covid measures when I arrved. In the autumn/winter they were checking that everyone, on arrival, registered with the covid app, used hand sanitiser and were temperature checked. I saw them turn a guy away before, because his temperature was too high, so they were clearly taking it seriously. This time they just waved me through. We ordered with their app which seemed well put together. Then our orders arrived in drips and drabs . A bottle of wine and one pizza came in a normal time frame. Some soft drinks took ages to turn up. The other two pizzas didn't arrive until 1 and a quarter hours after we ordered and only because we asked what had happened. I didn't think my pizza was very tasty either - not at all the quality I usually associate with the White Rabbit and I've been a customer since it first opened. No one collected our plates so that wasn't great to sit with. I hope it's just teething problems post lockdown because I have always been a fan of this place. The staff always seemed to take pride in the pub and their food - no one seemed to care last night, sadly

A good discovery, this "Free House" nestled in an alley. The beer is good and well served. The establishment is frequented by groups of quite nice students, devouring pizzas (specialties of the place apparently). he).

Very delicious pizzas with the softest of bases and an unusual and tasty selection of toppings. Really liked to see the carbon footprint on the menu. Shame the heated benches weren't all working on a chilly February day (although better for the carbon footprint I guess)!

Had a reservation booked and was ignored by multiple staff members waiting outside the restaurant as they just walked past us. Staff had no trouble informing us, at regular intervals, that we had to give the table back at a certain time, however. Wrong pizza sent to our table (staff didn't know the name of pizza) and we were blamed after having started eating.

Hi Chris - thanks for your review - it feels like we communicated things at the wrong times to you and my apologies for that. We have been exceptionally busy since reopening and although we do our very best to welcome everyone in without any waiting, inevitably sometimes we are not as fast as we would like to be, and we definitely should not have left you feeling ignored. I hope it will not put you off retuning and I trust that you enjoyed your pizza.

Had booked a table for 9 people for 7:30pm, arrived at the White Rabbit at 7:30pm but were queuing by the bar for another five mins to speak to anyone. We then saw that there were two people sat at our reserved table, so we went outside to look for tables. Came inside and finally managed to speak to someone at the bar - asked where our reserved table was and she said "in that corner", to which I replied "will 9 people fit there?" And she said "well, you were late, so we gave your table away". It was now 7:38pm and the two people sat there had already received their pizza, so had obviously been there for a while. The waitress then said she'd ask them to move, but ten minutes later had not done so. We were made to feel very unwelcome and felt that the service was rude, so left. We then wandered up and down George Street, but no other restaurants had space for 9 people with no notice - except for Pizza Express in the Castle Quarter, who were absolutely lovely, with exceptional service and food!
