I have never seen so many board games...didn't know so many existed. The very helpful staff are there to explain if necessary and can defuse arguments about the rules! We have only had drinks here while playing games with the grandchildren and children. The grandchildren ask to come here every time they visit. We oldies find it all a bit... More

It may be tiny but it makes the most of every square inch. The range of board games is incredible (they have 9 different versions of Ticket to Ride), and the staff are invaluable at helping you find your way through the shelves of options to find something that you want to play, and then explain to you how to... Great people and atmosphere. Photos dont show how packed it now is. Even extra table at toilet door which is permanently open - not nice. Expensive too, 25 pounds for three people to spend an hour on a game with naff coffee. Too much emphasis on profit. What about us Meeples?

First time at a board game cafe - we'll be back for more! The staff were extremely helpful, introducing us to new games and there to answer any questions. Extensive list of beers & small but nice selection of wines. Lots of fun. Highly recommend.

First time in a board game cafe, and I'm sure we will be back. Wife and I stayed for a couple of hours and played 3 games. Great staff who were very helpful and suggested a great new game to us (so good we bought it on the way out! (It was Cacao if you were interested)) Good brownies, wine... More

Truly enjoyed having a very chill (and yet highly competitive) afternoon with my friend. Great staff, highly knowledgeable and great at explaining just about every game and delicious chai!

Hundreds of games to pick from. Good selection of food/drink - slightly on the pricy side but a lovely, different way to spend a rainy afternoon

A great concept, well executed. Without the games it would be a very decent cafe, but it is so much more. A dazzling assortment of table games to play, and really great value, especially on a rainy day.

This is by far one of the best things you can do with a night with friends in Oxford! The Hosts are utterly amazing and will leave you dazzled at their enthusiasm and knowledge of all things Boardgame! Give them any abstract theme and they can select you several options, explain briefly how they work, the rules in more details... More
