We booked a table for lunch in this restaurant after checking out the website. Good website and menus available to download. Also very efficient online booking with a text sent to confirm. I signed up for the newsletter and got a voucher for a free...More

Disappointing and pedestrian cooking. Two first courses were fine but the warm ox tongue salad was a disaster- chewy and gristly meat and virtually no dressing- what there was didn't seem to bear much relation to what the menu promised. Crab was fine but the(?frozen)...More

Maybe I'm just a sucker for Raymond Blanc's cooking, but I do love this place. You're much better going for the daily specials rather than the a la carte, as it's much better value, and generally contains interesting dishes made from less favoured ingredients. With...More

Jericho/North Oxford has a number of upper market restaurants and I have lived in the area for several years now - Branca, Gees, Old Parsonage, Rickety Press etc - but Brasserie Blanc has to be the best, consistently, for service, quality and value. We were...More

Not the best meal as we had previously been to Le Manoir, and that was absolutely an experience of a lifetime. This restaurant however had lots of appeal, we were a party of 11 and in the small side room. The Manager was so helpful...More

This is definitely not an everyday place but somewhere for a more special meal. However, despite being on the pricey side the food is delicious (seriously the best sausage and mash I have ever had!) The waiting staff are polite, attentive and knowledgeable. I'd definitely...More

Easy parking nearby & Jericho is a lively area with lots of pubs & restaurants nearby. It was an extremely hot evening & we had a baby with us, so we were particularly pleased to walk into the air conditioned dining area. It cooled us...More

Lovely food as would be expected from the prices and the name however the menu hardly changes. The staff are welcoming and encourage you to order side dishes along with your food i.e. mash with your steak and fries- which we followed however without realizing...More

Having been before, we thoroughly recommended this to our friends to join us for Sunday lunch. Admittedly we had a latish booking so maybe some staff had already left but the service was slow and courses somewhat disappointing when compared to our previous visits. It...More

This was our 3rd trip to the Brasserie Blanc in Oxford and as always I was delighted with the food. I had had a very stressful day and all that kept me going was the thought of the Steak Tatar at Brasserie Blanc. I wasn’t...More

Description
This was our first Brasserie Blanc which opened over 18 years ago when Raymond Blanc was just a boy! Now with a truly beautiful new look, we are open every day from breakfast right through to dinner, and everything in between. We love it here in the heart of the Jericho area of Oxford where we serve real French food in our relaxed and welcoming, light filled space. The restaurant is always buzzing with our many regulars, new faces and the many tourists visiting this charming part of the city. Ask about our private dining room if you have a special occasion in mind or if you want a meeting space with great French coffee on tap.
