Stopped in to warm up during a tour of Oxford. Rude, slow, condescending service and poor quality food. Anyplace else would be better.More

Visited here as part of a hen party and would recommend this place to everyone. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious and the tea just kept coming. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we all felt really welcome.

We had coffees and cakes here just before a guided walk of Oxford so we were a little rushed. Perhaps that is why we didn't notice any glamour associated with this cafe. It seemed like any other cafe in a department store - perhaps we...More

Have I missed something? Can’t believe the rave reviews about this place. Visited Saturday early afternoon 29 September to find a nasty sticky table, disinterested staff, a messy dirty serving counter, surplus stock piled up in corners and bizarrely casual service. Had to ask for...More

It’s seems to be difficult to get coffee in England like you can get in Australia. Very confusing. We waited a while but they were busy and everyone else seemed happy. The coffee was better than we had somewhere else earlier but still hmmm
