Everything about this place needs to be highlighted. The service is excellent, the food was fantastic and the prices are great value. The menu is comprehensive without offering everything under the sun, which for me gets the alarm bells ringing. The food is freshly prepared....I can recommend the Bento box. Pure theatre! Some of their twists are really interesting and work really well. I think their chef knows what he is doing and takes pride in his craft. they have very good options for vegetarians.More

Really craved japanese food and wasn’t sure it would travel well, I was wrong! I am soo glad we ordered from here tonight, the food came quickly and was reasonably priced and very authentic. I had the yasai hand roll and yasai tofu udon, my...husband had a salmon and avocado hand roll, pork tonkotsu ramen and we shared a portion of takoyaki, I can say hands down these were the nicest takoyaki I have tried outside of Japan. 3 nights of ordering in just eat and two unsatisfactory experiences, this one was delicious. The sushi was great and the katsu curry was lovely.

Decided rather than buy a take away from a chain we'd try a local restaurant and glad we did. Ordered online and was told would be ready in 10 minutes, went in after 15/20 minutes and it was ready and bagged up. Sign on counter...said cash only, but card machine available. Ordered 2 types of Gyoza and squid plus 2 noodle dishes and they were everything we hoped for. Will try the sushi soon.More

I asked the woman at the till if the restaurant was halal. She kindly answered a yes. I trusted her so I ate the chicken options which she confirmed were halal. What really worried me was the fact that I didn't see any halal certification...or ask if there was any alchohol in some of their food. It was a delicious experience however and the food was well made and fresh. It was great and all, I'm just not sure if I was allowed to actually eat the food ( I never took a picture sorry )More

We had the mixed platter plus chicken teriyaki and the spicy edamame. Fabulous, fresh, flavourful, a great selection.

A laidback Weds lunchtime trip to the other side of town. The shop was shut when we got there about 1205 but was open by the time we'd spent 10 minutes in nearby shops. Only one staff member to take orders and cook - so...the food took a while to come but when it did, it was spectacular. I had the chicken katsu curry with rice and a simple side salad. Sauce was delicious. Partner had the chicken teriyaki bento box, which came covered. Pulling the lid off was like a magic trick - gasp - gorgeous presentation of teriyaki, rice, salad and fried dumplings. With a good miso soup on the side. Taste-wise, the rice was a little underwhelming but the rest was good. The place itself is comfortable and trendy, exposed construction and Japan-esque stylings. Very Insta-friendly. Recommend.More

We have been regular customers and previously enjoyed many meals here, in the evenings. Today we wanted to go for lunch, I checked their website which said they would be open from 12 midday. We made the journey (+30mins, not cheap and not easy) only...to find the restaurant closed. There was no sign on the door, no explanation, nothing on their website to explain the closure. No one answered their phone. We were so disappointed, and hungry. Kids were upset and hungry, what a failed trip. 3 hours later I phoned up to check the restaurant, the person who answered explained that they had been shopping and that's why the restaurant was not opened as advertised. What kind of business are they running?! They run out of supplies and don't open, don't explain? Or they fancied going shopping rather than working?! We won't be going back and we won't be recommending this restaurant any more.More

I have tried almost every sushi establishment in Berkshire now and this place is top for me for value for money. Amazing sushi for a good price. I have been here a few times and I normally got the 60+ piece Mixed Platter for £45,...it's a good mix of sushi and every different one tastes great. The quality for the cost is simply unmatched.More

Came here with our young children. Got a large sushi platter and we loved it. Great range of tasty food that wasn’t too exotic for the kids. Service was spot on and fantastic value for money.
