About
You will easily find The Spring Inn on the Bath Road just a few minutes drive from Junction 12 of the M4 and close to Reading, Theale and Pangbourne. We are far enough from all that hustle & bustle and you'll know you're in Royal Berkshire countryside! Now re-opened with a new management team and having benefited from interior decoration and outside landscaping, The Spring Inn is at the heart of the Sulhamstead community and overlooks the Sulhamstead and Ufton Cricket Club. Managed by the same team as highly successful gastropub The George at Wraysbury, there are plenty of culinary delights and a wide range of local, regional and international wines, beers and ales for residents of Sulhamstead

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Choice of vegetarian or meat courses. The Spring Inn was very busy and some people were complaining about slow service and we had some time between courses. It wasn't a problem. Good quality food.

Visited the Spring Inn tonight (February 20th) with family to celebrate our daughter’s 19th birthday. A warm & friendly welcome followed by some great food & service & a few Aperol spritz made for a very enjoyable evening. Keep doing what you’re doing, we will...be back soon.More

Honestly one of the best places to drop in to for dinner. We had the beef short rib pie and beef burger, both of which were excellent. 100% recommend. Also real easy to get to when travelling along the M4.

The Spring Inn is a good meeting point for our family, located close to the A4. We enjoyed a lovely family lunch to celebrate a birthday. The service was good, the food was delicious and came out quickly. Staff are friendly and helpful. It was...a great visit. We will be back.More

Lovely staff and great meal - roast was great and loads of veg which was lovely. The roasties were fluffy but crispy. We all had a different meat chicken/beef and salmon (not a roast) all were lovely and fab portions

Food was a disappointment, especially for the price. Burger and chips was exactly that, no side salad, nothing: Some salad on the burger, but not much. Chicken Schnitzel with a small rocket salad with chips was uninspiring, and looked nothing like the photo. Staff were...friendly and efficient, but food-wise, we won't be back. Oh, and they automatically add 10% service charge to the bill, which I think is a bit cheeky.More

Booked a private dinner for 15 for my birthday. The Talented Chef and team very kindly agreed to open the kitchen for us at 4PM (usually they are closed at that time) We had a mixture of starters, a la carte and set menus. Food...was absolutely amazing. For those with dietary requirements the Chef and team went out of their way to ensure delicious vegan meals were prepared (off menu items) Table Service was amazing. We paid a deposit to secure the booking a week prior which was due to come off the bill at the end. In a mixup and rush for us to leave for our next destination this was not removed (we forgot to ask to remove this). The owner kindly called us the following Monday to say that there was a mixup and we were due a £150 refund. A most generous and honest gesture. Food was delicious, drinks reasonably priced, located in an amazing building with character. Upstairs offered private dining room which was clean, well setup and offered a large space for my guests to drink, eat and be merry. This place is without doubt 10/10.More

The staff were friendly and helpful. There was an excellent range of food on the menu. The food was excellent and obviously cooked on the premises - no reheating in the microwave. There was no problem bringing dogs and the staff were all happy to speak...to the dogs and bring them a bowl of water. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and i would definitely go there again.More

We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas Day meal at the Spring Inn! We were a table of 14 and could not fault anything. The portion sizes were very generous, the flavours and food was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to make our day...special. Thank you so much!More

One for the establishment to answer, I'd think the enquirer would be better served by contacting the establishment direct.
