Good range of beers, made very welcome, excellent service and a lovely pie - I’ll be back 😁 Friends enjoying good company of others but not awkward to being flying solo.

Oh wow the best Sunday lunch I've had for such a long time. Nice and simple went fir the Beef it was to die for, and the vegetables were piping hot throughout the meal. The pub is quirky and has a lot to look at....More

This is a real ale, craft ale and cider mecca for beer aficionados. A wide range of beers and styles are available including rarer dark ales. Most days the food is simple rolls and pies with roasts on a Sunday which I have yet to...More

Fantastic value for money, nice atmosphere if a bit busy to be served at once. Nice local with local ales, I got what I expected and would definitely return.

Best pub for slow time on sunday afternoon. Tasty real ciders (no fizz, only taste) and slowcooked roast of your choice. And gravy made the meal all the better. Thanks!!

Why is this the least LGBT friendly pub in Reading, why is everyone so bigoted, like its the local UKIP, EDL, meeting up place ?
