Came here for a change of scene working from home and loved it. Friendly service, good coffee / snacks and good WiFi too. It’s a great location and has an ‘independent’ feel to it.

Well, I need to admit that they have really good coffee there. Flat white they served was one of the best I ever tried in my life. I would call myself as an coffee lover. However the problem is with staff working there. You simply...don't feel comfortable and welcome in that location. I had a pleasure to enjoy really good coffee, however I will not go there anymore.More
What a great coffee place. Seating outside and inside. Brilliant service. 6 different mocha flavours to choose from. Specialty coffee
We had the best pasteis de nata here, and the coffee is excellent. The pastries are devine. The staff is friendly and helpful, so go get yourself some goodies there. It is a small place and it fills up depending on the time you go,...so don’t be surprise if you can’t get a table. We went twice in one day and will go back.More
I picked this place out after looking at TripAdviser. Went in for food and coffee and to do some work. I ordered and sat down to be told, don't sit there - sit over there - a small table by the door. I had no...room to eat and do my work. In the end I sat down and browsed the internet, ate up and left. Food selection was minimal although the feta pastry I had was ok.More
Excellent service provided by the veeeery attractive barista Roisin. Lovely girl. Will be returning soon for more delicious coffee
As cafe mocha drinkers, we can confirm that CUP's mochas are the best in Reading. We come in whenever we're in town; the cafe always has friendly and welcoming staff. They sell hot and cold drinks, and pastries with a particularly Greek theme. They also...sell bags of ground coffee and loose-leaf tea to take home. In normal times they also do a range of excellent breakfast and open sandwiches for those who are hungrier.More
We both got a Iced Caramel Latte, personally too sweet for us but I’d definitely return as they were very welcoming & I think we’d enjoy the more bitter coffee they have to offer.
Enjoyed a happy thirty minutes or so at C.U.P. with coffee, hot chocolate and delightful biscuit confectionaries. Since there was no soya milk, the hot chocolate came with almond milk but added a tasty distinct flavour. The black coffee was strong – my preference! –...and the peanut butter shortbread was lovely. I’d previously been to their Blagrave Street coffee shop but also enjoyed the St Mary’s Butts location. Thoroughly recommend!More
Came in here to venture away from the coffee chains and loved it. Amazing coffee, great service and lovely atmosphere :)
Bitter coffee. Food was ok but the pancakes were a bit dry and old. Not bad but not great either ! A bit cold in the cafe too (visited December)
Myself and my friend got bored of the standard coffee chains, so we ventured slightly outside the oracle. We opted for the Mediterranean sandwich and a tea, both good quality. Friendly service. Not a huge amount of seating so if you visit during peak times...expect to maybe wait. Will definitely visit again!More
Very good coffee and excellent tea selection. Service very friendly, efficient and helpful. Good pastries. Excellent place to meet up with friends. Love it.
This place comes complete with stereotyped hispter using a macbook. Made me laugh, really. I'm not really a coffee drinker to I had tea. They have a reasonable range. The food is pretty good too. The service could do with being a little more friendly.
The apricot jam cake and the amazing coffee got us hooked in the best place for breakfast in Reading
