Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place does Portuguese tart ever. Fabulous coffee and a welcoming atmosphere. Kicking myself that I only had one of the tarts today!

The coffee and pastries are good. The grilled sandwiches aren't. Got one last week and was really looking forward to horsing it into me, but the cheese wasn't even melted. A bone-dry disappointment.

I can confirm the vegan choices - a pastel de nata and oat galao - are top class and the service was friendly and helpful. Enjoy!

Popped in for a coffee and cake whilst I did some work to receive some lovely service from Emily(?) who was kind enough to run my items over. Well roasted coffee, soft cake and a lovely atmosphere!

For years people have told me how good “real” Pasteis de Nata are and for years I’ve tried the odd one in a cafe here and there only to find them not much different than an English egg custard tart. Lisboa couldn’t be further away...from that. The warm, unctuous custard and the golden crispy crunch of the flaky (but not too flaky) pastry that bursts with flavour and texture. I also tried the “Bolo de Arroz” rice cake which frankly I found dense dull and tasteless but I’m prepared to assume and accept that following the first pastry, anything would’ve paled in comparison. A real treat and not remotely expensive for a beautiful place to sit. Great decor, welcoming atmosphere. Will be back!More

Having been closed for quiet some time (although the sister venue in Crookes is still open and lovely), went back to this place having seen its back open. Lovey stuff, authentic Portuguese pastries and coffee. Although on the pricey side (especially companies to Portugal!) but...based on the location and standard this is understandable. Perfect place to drop in for a high quality coffee on a sunny day. Perfect location, friendly staff and snacks. Un gostinho de Portugal!More

Glad it has reopened and refurbished to accommodate more seating. I love the selection of pastries that seems to change depending on the day. Working my way around all of them eventually

Having read the excellent reviews for Cafe Lisboa we called in for some breakfast whilst visiting Sheffield for the weekend. We were not disappointed. The Pastéis de nata were superb (even better than the ones we’d had in Lisbon a few weeks earlier), we couldn’t...resist buying a box of 8 to bring home. The other pastries we tried were also delicious, as was the coffee and Portuguese hot chocolate. Great service from the friendly manager(?) too.We will definitely return if visiting Sheffield again.More

We didn't find that Sheffield was an oasis of good restaurants but this cafe made up for it. Lovely service, really good coffee and excellent pastal de nata.

I tried to make a habit of popping by to Lisboa every time I walk through town, but this year has been hard on everyone. I was gutted to watch them have to close throughout the summer, but equally delighted to see them open now...the months have become colder. Dropped by this morning to grab some fuel for me and my brother to help him move house today - the service was great and the food was delicious as always. Thanks guys!More
