Food was really nice but the evening was spoilt by the coldness of the restaurant. I had to put my coat on during my meal as did another diner. We asked to be moved away from the window and were moved near the bar but...were still very cold. A shame as I'm sure if it had been warmer we would have enjoyed it more. Won't be returning in the winter.More

Never fails to impress

This place never fails to impress. Small cosy venue with a big heart....from the wonderful staff to the amazing food.. I have recently visited twice once for family 80th celebration where we had the venue to ourselves and everyone had a fantastic meal . Evening out with friends

The food In this place is amazing and the service was spot on. The only reason I have rated it four instead of five is where you're eating is very cold to relax and enjoy your meal. This is the only reason it would stop...me going back.More

AMAZING FOOD, VENUE AND AWESOME STAFF

This restaurant, ticks all the boxes, amazing food, friendly staff, nothing is too much for them. We celebrated a family party here, this venue made it extra special. Thank you. Definitely recommend.

Highly recommended

This is a really understated restaurant. Food was excellent, wonderful Mediterranean flavours and all beautiful cooked and presented. Staff were lovely and friendly, service was excellent. Really good value and highly recommended

Dinner with family/friends

We live in the area and always see this place very full so had to try it. The food was incredible. The chef put effort into every individual dish, no one was let down in the slightest. I had the sea bass which was so...creamy, fresh and flakey. The sides accompanied it perfectly. The atmosphere was great too, nice and small felt very authentic. Would recommend to anyone! Very nice, but small portions and expensive

Great food but terribly small portion sizes. Compared to, say Zeguma (excellent Turkish) and other similar restaurants. It is very nice food, but very expensive and you get very little food. 4 pieces of chicken with a 20-quid mixed grill is not acceptable! Sort it...out guysMore

Stunning meal with great service!

Amazon food, fresh and delicious with generous portion sizes. Friendly staff, great service and experience. I have been here many times it’s a favourite of mine great place to also bring family and friends

What a magician of Turkish food combined with a pleasant, attentive service

First time I’ve ever had Turkish food…. I rarely give anywhere 5 stars as it really takes a lot for me to be wowed (I’m nothing special, I just love food). This place really is great! And the chap that cooks all the food, what...an absolute inspiration of a hard working, creative person who’s clearly passionate about his incredible Turkish flavours. From the cosy warm, rustic decor (which I love!) to the service of the girl who served us and of course the food…. amazing food with family for a birthday meal all 15 meals was correct and delicious and amazing service very welcoming staff and excellent chef we allways eat in and takeaway both great definitely recommend

Weeknight Dinner out.

We used to come here when it was Envers and always loved the food. This visit was on a cold wet miserable week night. We were not expecting it to be so busy but it was full to the rafters. The food did not disappoint,...it was gorgeous, melt in your mouth bread and I had the seabass which was divine. Can't fault Engins in anyway, it's a lovely little restaurant with great food.More
