Fabulous food

Fabulous vegetarian Sunday roast

Fabulous vegetarian Sunday roast - two choices of veggie roast which is a first for me and a lovely meal, presented beautifully. Enjoyed cocktails to start and a lovely roast . Desserts looked lovely but we had no room for them. We added the stuffing...balls and cauliflower cheese both of which were a good size and excellent . Highly recommendedMore

Excellent food

Catchup with friends

Lovely

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and good portion size. In my opinion the wine is a little bit pricey for a screw top bottle.

Sunday Roast - EPIC!

Warm and cosy

On rainy winters night it was great to be welcomed with a warm friendly cosy atmosphere. Lovely varied menu with added specials board great and polite service with fantastic tasting local food. Can not recommend high enough will definitely return.

OK but lacks that special something

A bit disappointing. The food was OK but lacked flair. Aranchini balls nice but served on a bed of something that looked like hummus but tasted of nothing. Sea bass again pleasant but all flavours on plate merged together into nothing very special. Crumble dessert...ok but served with gloopy custard that didn’t taste of white chocolate as promised. No Chardonnay by the glass. Just not inspiring’More

A friendly neighbourhood restaurant with good food and amazing service.

We really enjoyed our Fish Special menu and the owners could not have been more helpful in accommodating dishes to suit allergies. The chowder with crusty bread was yummy and the cod was given a bit of "zing" with a butter bean and chorizo stew...; the panna cotta with mango coulis was tasty but had a lightness to end a good meal. Good value also. The size of the restaurant gives it a warm and friendly vibe. We were glad to have found it on a trip to Sheffield. Would definitely recommend it.More

A real find

We shall be back! One is spoiled for choice on Eccleshall Road, but T&T piqued my interest so my wife, my mum and I went for an early evening meal after a theatre matinee. A little gem!

We have wanted to visit Turnip and Thyme for a while and it was well worth the wait. A delicious Sunday roast (both vegetarian and meat roast ordered) cooked to perfection and piping hot. A cosy intimate atmosphere, with very friendly staff. We look forward...to returning soon. Highly recommend!More
