Chakra Lounge is a quirky and unusual cafe situated centrally. Decor is bold yet stylish and it's clear a lot of thought had gone into creating a thoroughly modern east-meets-west ambience. Service was both friendly and efficient, even when it got busy around late morning....By cafe standards it felt like the staff were particularly diligent and we felt genuinely looked after. For me though, the food was the jewel in the crown. It's easy to do this kind of thing and get it horribly wrong but the prep and presentation at Chakra can only be described as artistic. They say the first bite is with the eyes and oh what a sumptuous bite it was. The "if Indians did it" full breakfast is a stunning to look at as it is to consume. This is a brunch that charms you. Truly innovative, thoughtful and delicious. I would give six stars if I could.More

I met my partner in Chakra, we had our first few dates here and then simply kept going. The food is wonderful, comforting and the menu changes often that it’s exciting but retains all of its familiarity. The staff are lovely and accommodating. We’ve had...plenty of chats with Sunny and Elle (part of the kitchen) and with Harvey and Jordan (two of the front of house) and they're always so welcoming. Popped in for a shake and ended up getting breakfast. Not lying when I say I was shocked when plate turned up!! What an amazing taste, presentation and prices are very low too!!
