First time we have eaten here, it was on a Saturday night so it was quite busy but had no problems with the service, the food and drinks were very good, i had Calzone for my main which was excellent, best I've had in years,...for my starter I had Garlic Bread which was ok but got a big plate and only four small pieces on it other than that it was ok, everybody enjoyed it, and it was reasonably priced as well.More

What a shame we have been coming here for years came tonight myself my husband and sister. It was busy but it always is My sister ordered chicken crispella half way through her meal she got quite a large chicken bone in her mouth no...one had been to the table and asked if our meals were ok so she took her meal to the counter and said she couldn't eat it because of the chicken bone it was really off putting. No one came to the table and apologised or said anything So we asked for the bill to find we had been charged for the meal. When we complained we were shown the red writing at the bottom of the menu saying about bones So if you choke on a chicken bone you have been warned. When my sister complained it was taken off the bill. Shame really got a big.anniberasu.cinh up at the end of September not booking here. Went elsewhere for desert and coffeesMore

Been going to this restaurant for any years. Tonight ordered a chicken pancake which resulted in me choking on a chicken bone. I returned my meal to the servery but no one commented. When the young waiter brought the bill I asked to speak to...a manager to be told there wasn't one. Then I was shown the very small print on the menu saying there may be bones. Which apparently were fine for me to choke on ,!! Eventually the price of my meal was taken off the bil. Too little to late. Won't be returningMore

Our family visit included 7 adults, and 2 children. The food was excellent and all plates were cleared at each course. As we were celebrating my wife's birthday (and brought a cake along with us) the service was terrific and, if anything, the staff went...above and beyond in making it a really pleasant and joyful experience. Just been in for our daughters 21st birthday. Service and food is outstanding. We have been a few times before and this will certainly not be our last visit. Highly recommended.

I live nearby and drive by this restaurant frequently - and it always looks busy. Don’t let the location out you off, this little place is a gem! Generous portions of well made and tasty food. Our group had a mix of pizza, pasta and...Mexican - all excellent. Make sure you’re hungry and make sure you book in advance - this place is popular and I’ve finally found out why! If we can get a table we’ll be back!More

The reviews on this place must be for somewhere else . I have never had such poor service and food . Supposed to be fillet steak more like sirloin . Clearly chef needs to learn how to cook steak as when asked for medium rare,...came well done and very dry even with the copious amounts of gravy sauce . Only good part was the garlic bread with cheese but when it came there was only 4 slices and when questioned they said that’s just how it comes . Please see photo attached lol Also is it Italian or Mexican .,, just pick one! Either way , very expensive for what it was . Will not returnMore

Another excellent family celebration. They catered for 26 of us and we had a wonderful meal with excellent service and a night to remember for the birthday girl.

So me and my partner and parents have spoken about going to this place for a little while now after hearing great reviews in regards to the food so we booked a table for last night (Thurs 1st Dec) as it was a pre-Christmas meal...treat from myself as this is something we always tend to do around the Christmas season... We arrived and was shown two tables to choose from but the staff didn't seem overly friendly or welcoming if I'm being quite honest. Food was lovely enough don't get me wrong, but the service wasn't the best, my partner is a chef and has worked in hospitality most of his life and he commented the exact same as the rest of our party. We were not once asked how the food was and we were offered black pepper on our starter dishes to which I replied "Yes please" and the waiter never bothered to come back and proceeded to ignore us on numerous occasions, they were more bothered about a birthday party of 14 that had booked but as I see it every customer is a potential returning customer/regular if treated right so you should treat all your customers with the same service and attitude. After mains there was no offer of desserts or more drinks and we were just pointed to look at a dessert board on the wall. We felt rather uncomfortable to say the least and like we were a burden and had to physically call a waiter over when we needed service. I'm half Italian myself and when I've been to Italy I have been treated with much more professional attitude, attentiveness and respect and even when I went to pay the bill (they didn't bring it after we requested it) I was met with a member of staff who I believe to be a manager with zero personality and just a glum look on his face just throwing the card machine at me so I decided to reduce my tip as was going to pay a lot more obviously if service was up to standard but it wasn't, probably one of the worst service experiences I've ever encountered. It's safe to say I don't think we will be visiting again. I'm pretty sure there are much better Italian restaurants in Sheffield so we will try elsewhere next time, such a disappointment as this place could be really good if drastic improvements were made and three stars were given purely based on the food alone nothing else which I think is rather generous considering our experience...More
