Absolutely brilliant - food superb ( we had a variety of different sandwiches and amazing cakes with 6 different varieties and scones) Tea with Percie went the extra mile - catered for Coeliac, lactose intolerance and 3 regular (all boxed separately and no cross contamination)....Portions extremely generous, loads of home made strawberry jam and whipped cream for the scones. I was really impressed with the vegetarian afternoon tea I ordered for collection. It was really great both the fab selection of sandwiches and the cakes were amazing. I will definitely be returning for another visit

Been popping for takeaway cake and coffee every week or so during lockdown - such an uplifting treat. The cakes are delicious. Today’s raspberry and lime cheesecake was perfection. I've had a few cakes from here, all very very nice. The raspberry and lime cheesecake is my favourite is incredibly nice. I'm a cheesecake fan and this was probably the best I've had. There'll be places in New York that would be proud of...it! Customer service very good also.More

I happened to pass by and was forced to go in because of the freshly baked aroma of the cakes that engulfed me. Owing to COVID-19, I couldn't sit inside but its decorated quiet warmly. Clare with her exuberant warm friendly smile welcomed and patiently...explained about each of her cakes. I took a slice of lemon drizzle cake and a brownie. Lemmon drizzle cake was perfectly soft and moist with just the right amount of sweetener. It was fresh even on the second day after keeping in fridge. 8.5 on 10. Brownie was a classic. Having recently moved here, I haven't been able to taste the perfect brownie so far and Percie just answered my wish. I warmed it for 10 seconds in the micro and it was awesome. Soft with added taste of raspberry. It had a higher chocolate content which was just perfect. 9 on 10. Next on my list is to try the pecan cake. So far too good to pass by and not enter the shop to taste.More

I was meeting friends for the first time in over a year. We arrived at 11 am and stayed until 3pm. The staff were friendly and went out if their way to look after us. Even when it started getting busy theh didn't make us...feel we had out stayed our welcome. The cakes are made by them and I can personally recommend the soup. Yummy.More

I’ve been frequenting this cafe for several years. It’s such a hidden gem. It is quite small and often busy - which is to be expected as Clare is amazing and everything she makes tastes superb. I would recommend calling before hand to see how...busy it is but other than that check it out 😀More

Perfect pit stop on a wet Saturday - great food and welcoming and relaxed. We took a plum cake home, delicious

Had never heard of this place til my friend suggested meeting there for lunch. It was fab - tasty sandwich, delicious choc and Guinness cake and really good coffee. Will be back.
