Not been to this pub before and was pleasantly surprised by its cosy traditional atmosphere. Couple of young guys serving, very pleasant and affable. Excellent steak, good pie, frozen chips but not a problem. Great value, we will be back.

Went hear for lunch with our daughter and grandson. The food was good and the location is stunning with great views from the garden of the Rivelin Dams and Valley. Nice play park for the little ones too.

Some of the finest views over the Snake Pass/ A57 Valley is offered from our 3-acre pub garden. Direct access for Crag Top walks and a very large off street carpark is free to all customers. We have 3 chefs and a fabulous kitchen support team working on food specials, events and ensuring the highest of quality is served. Our large bar and restaurant area accommodates those of you wanting a quick drink and chats after work, a hearty meal after a walk in The Peak District or maybe a date night with wine or bubbles! Dogs are welcome and we have free treats, dog bowls and bags when they need the facilities. On the cooler days, and nights, our 3 log burning fires will be kept topped up by our friendly local staff. Other facilities include free wi-fi, a functions room, frequent events, live music and themed weekends. We're a local family run business and are always looking for feedback and suggestions.
