Had a Tuesday day lunch. Sat outside. Staff were very out of step but eventually got menu's. Placed our order and got drink after a while. Then an incident happened where a metal chair a lady was sitting on broke, narrowly, the head missing a...table corner as she fell back. She was shocked and sore but was OK. This threw the staff completely. Everything stopped as I think the 1st aider was the chef. After that, our order ended up behind others that arrived after us. Two meals and 4 drinks shouldn't take 2 hours to arrive. We did like the food so "tried again" on the Thursday lunch, be told they were only serving cakes. Tried to get a takeaway in the evening to be told the kitchen was closed. Such a shame as they must loose out on another 9f revenue after covid to then not be able to run when able. The way they handled incident was good I will add. But if you go, before to sit, make sure chairs have not rusted .........More

Booked for myself, my wife and ninety year old mother to eat at the bakehouse. Low seating is all upstairs but Angela arranged for some low seating on the ground floor so my mother could eat there. Thanks for your excellent work Angela and the...team. We had a lovely time. Food was delicious.More

Beautiful and quaint building in central Ludlow. Food and drinks were served quickly and attentively by well trained waiting staff. Quality of food and presentation was excellent, if a little slow at coming out. Nice selection of drinks at reasonable prices.

Our group of eight had a lovely evening here. The menu is limited but the food was excellent and the staff were most attentive

Absolutely shocked at the experience I had. Went in with two friends all of us first time excited to come. Food took on hour to come out, dropped on the way to us and then forgotten about to get a replacement. Could've walked out they...were stood in the kitchen that long but didn't want to be disrespectful as work in this industry too, when confronted about the experience, the MANAGER shouted in our faces, gave the reciept to a different waiter and said "you deal with this" and walked off. I don't want to drone on but please save your time going here !More

Front of house seemed chaotic and poorly trained which can be partly understood and forgiven at the moment. Beef burgers were off the menu, so we opted for southern chicken burgers, we also ordered drinks which were promptly delivered. Our food took around 1/2 an...hour, it arrived warm but not hot, it was well presented on a metal canteen style tray and fries neatly arranged in an enamel tin mug. The burgers were passable but bland and uninspiring, the tiny portion of house fries were well seasoned and did taste good. Overall experience felt much more like an homogenous national chain rather than a Ludlow independent. Very nice setting in a mews style central setting with outside seating available. £75 for 4 burgers with drinks. Far superior eating options in the town if you remember to book in advance.More

One meat eater, one vegetarian visited. Good choice of burgers, although fries etc are all extra. Very limited choice of non alcoholic drinks, and desserts were also in short supply, being told there were only 3 bits of cheesecake left at 6.30 on a Saturday....Most of the service was good and the setting is attractive.More

Front of house were great, menu was good and one meal was delightful. However, when we had a lamb burger that was cold - we sent it back to the kitchen, only to hear an onslaught of rude comments from the chef clearly aimed at...us. If you are going to be rude your customers; at least close the kitchen door so that they can not hear every word!!! After waiting another 30 minutes and watching 40ish customers being turned away - it makes me wonder whether the kitchen can cope?! Would never return, spoilt our day. A burger joint that can't cook burgers!More
