Went here for a great meal. They are a dog friendly pub that provides excellent food and drink, delivered by excellent accommodating and friendly staff. Would thoroughly recommend as it was excellent value for two excellent meals of very good portion size

We had a day out to Ludlow and dropped into this pub for lunch. The pub is gorgeous, the staff are welcoming and the food, they were only serving pork and apple sauce or beef and horseradish baps today, was very tasty. My husband was...More

Interesting pub up an alleyway off the Buttercross and right in the heart of the town. Furnished in traditional alehouse style and now run by local brewer Joules so it features their beers plus a couple of guest ales. I had a pint and ordered...More

I've only rarely visited in the past - and this refurb was much needed, and rather more successful (to my mind) than the refund at The Church, a few doors away. The exposed-brick look, though a bit trendy, works well. The beer was good, too....More

This pub is hidden down a little alley in the middle of town. Great selection of beers. The food was of a good standard (especially the steaks). We used it both nights on our stay in Ludlow. Would definitely recommend.

Sadly we only had a drink here because we stumbled onto it quite late in the evening. Loved all the pannelling. Would anybody know if there is any significance of some of the panel's having letters and numbers on?

Two of us went in there last night at about 9.00; the pub was not particularly busy. The young woman behind the counter looked straight through us and carried on filling the glass washer. Other bar staff were similarly uninterested. We waited for what seemed...More

The oak paneling is the work of the famous mouse an Robert Thompson and the letters are listed in pub with a description of each panel. Each and every piece is Mouseman from different eras enjoying a second life.
