Stopped here for a couple of drinks. Great little pub, good atmosphere and service. Not much more to say.

Finding myself in Shrewsbury for the night I opted on this place after some hurried internet searching trying to find a pub doing good beer and food. I confess there looks like a lot of good places in Shrewsbury to choose from and I happened...More

Early evening visit, mostly older crowd. No canned music. Very good beer and some I wasn't familiar with.

Lovely pub grade 2 listed, 15th century pub, suits me, wish the drinks did too, friendly locals in pub. It is situated down a quaint cobbled old fashioned street opposite the church. Apparently it was used as a location in the 1984 film of A...More

Great little bar advertising cask ales down a cobbled street in town. We often call in as the fiancée likes a good pale ale. I'm not bothered as I just drink tea, coke or wine in an evening but I do find it very frustrating...More

A nice little pub, good food and beer. The place is not very big but still allows you enough space to stand up without turning over tables. A popular pub with both tourists and locals alike. It is at the top of the town so...More

Not a bad little pub, looks more of an eatery though. Bar staff seemed nice, menu looked good but we only popped in for a drink. Ale was fine, cider was too. Good for a socialable chat as no overpowering tv or jukebox.
