It’s the second time I have been here and I hadn’t been for over 2 years. Burgers are amazing and they are probably the best burgers I have eaten. The home made cheese cake was amazing. I was full for about 24 hours after going...there.More

We’ve not been for over a year as we moved out of the area. The food was amazing and great to be remembered! Please keep up the good work! The baconator was amazing.

Utterly brilliant, food, service and venue. Loved every minute of our experience. Thank you. We had our grandson with us as well as his mum and dad (who is very partially sighted). Every box was ticked. A huge thank you to James who looked after...us impeccably from the first point of contact to the farewell. His colleague was equally super. We have looked for so long, for a place to be able to go and eat out, that feels special and natural, with genuine staff who appreciate what it means to be a friendly host to the guests whilst they are there. We have found it in The Lyons Den. A place we will recommend to others. Although sometimes when you find a gem like this, you almost don't want to share it. Thank you again, it was truly amazing. One of the best burgers I’ve probably even eaten. Easy to find, fantastic service, restaurant was beautiful and so relaxing, and the burges were out of this world. Cannot fault any of it. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

Visited over the recent weekend, the staff were extremely polite and hard working. But the food let this place down, ordered frickles, chicken tenders and small nachos to start. The batter for the Frickels was so so salty. The chicken tenders were burnt and the...nachos extremely poor. I had the French burger and the beef patty was dry my partner had the blue salad which had the same chicken tenders on and again they were burnt. I don’t think this place was very good value for money at all and I don’t think I would return.More

Visited this restaurant due to the good reviews on Tripadvisor and really glad we did. Friendly staff, delicious food, good sized portions and lovely cosy atmosphere. It is a bit hidden away, but it is definitely worth seeking out.

Went with visiting family, plenty of choice and even though I wouldn’t normally eat a burger I had the Salopian, very flavoursome and juicy. Starter of nachos shared between 3 was devoured and rated as good, different burgers ordered, bacon cheese/ halloumi as as said...the Salopian, clean plates all round. Two desserts ordered, I did think £5+ for a quite small single waffle was a bit steep. Staff pleasant, lots of atmosphere and busy with diners even relatively early (6.45).More

What a fantastic restaurant and if your looking for a burger then this is the place. I'd always thought that I'd eaten the best burger abroad however I have to say this place supplied something unique and absolutely gorgeous taste. Compliments to the chef owner...who I can tell cooks every burger to perfection and even though we travelled from Walsall we really can't wait to come back. Special thanks to the service as well which was impeccable and overall EVERTHING was 10/10More

visited Shrewsbury on a Saturday lunchtime with a friend familiar to the town but unaware of this place, it is very much a hidden gem , even after finding the building entrance finding the restuarant was still a challenge once we found the steps down,...we recieved a friendly greeting asking if we had a booking, we hadn't but we were able to get in , it has a great atmosphere in amongst the arches of an old building, my veggie burger was the best I've ever had, looking forward to going again alreadyMore

Booked a table at short notice on Saturday night. The hosts were very accommodating and even moved our table to somewhere quiet without requesting it. The service was great. Very friendly and a personal touch talking about some of the ingredients being used…..and then the...food…it was absolutely fantastic! We had the Kicked By a Mule and the Filthy burger, both of which were cooked perfectly with home made patties and balanced nicely with the other ingredients - the pulled pork being excellent in both taste and texture. The star of the show was in fact the Frickles. Having never heard of them before both my partner and I were amazed just how good they were. If you like great burgers, excellent service in a unique setting (Traitors Gate) then you must try this place. Thoroughly enjoyed everything hence the rare 5*. Thank you for looking after us!More

There is plenty of local parking nearby but do not see this as a put off. The food is just seriously good!
