Visited Bath for the weekend and stumbled upon Chaiwalla. Delicious falafel and bhaji wrap with a samosa - definitely recommend for a quick lunch in Bath.

Don't try tea (chai) here. Better try a glass of water. It might taste better 😋. A microwave tea tastes better.
And good prices. Local tasty and vegetarian. The staff are lovely, food always fresh, music great. I work around the corner and treatmyself to lunch here at least once a week.
The owner is not only the nicest dude you’ll ever meet, but the food is amazing too. Best takeaway lunch you’ll get in Bath. Get samosas with your order and thank me later.
Fantastic, fresh and tasty vegan Indian street food as well as delicious non-dairy chai, chutneys and sea moss. Niraj and his team are full of energy and always served efficiently and with a smile! Really good value too.
Ordered a samosa chat and got a box full of soup/liquid with a broken down samosa and pakora floating in it. When questioned the staff took offense and behaved aggressively. While I was the Indian and they thought they knew better. Worst was yet to...come, ordered a desi tea which they said would take 15 minutes and gave me hope, my my my when the tea finally came after 25 minutes it was the worst £3.50 i have ever spent, it was just hot water topped up with oat milk and tasted like raw vomit. To the owners please train your staff as I don't think its their fault they don't know how to cook the right way and please help them improve their manners. PS: one good thing were the claimed home made samosa's which were super tasty. I wish i had just ordered a lot of them instead of the garbage i got served.More
We needed a quick snack during our tour of Bath and bought samosas. They were large with not too spicy filling and served with a choice of sauces. Some of the best I've eaten including those served in restaurants. The Indian and Romanian guys serving...were very friendly. There are a number of benches on the square where you can sit and enjoy your snack. Definitely worth trying and I'll definitely be back.More
Found it on TripAdviser and had lunch here. Very friendly guy working there and we had some enjoyable interaction. The food was very good and reasonably priced
What a find! This was a great little takeaway, we ordered the samosas which were excellent, it was busy, but that's the point: it's popular because it's great. Very attentive staff, homemade food, top quality and would definitely return when I'm in bath next.
I smelt this place, then saw the queue and thought it must be good. The onion Bhaji wrap was delicious, fresh and just the right spice. I wasn’t sure if manage it all but I enjoyed every mouthful.
Disappointingly average. I really don't get the 5 star reviews. Nice chai + friendly staff but a well below par oily wrap in a tortilla wrap (why not a chapati or naan) with a bit of manky salad. No yogurt sauce or similar. I'm very...confusedMore
There is a reason that this place is so highly rated, the food is absolutely amazing and well worth a visit. I chose the onion bhaji wrap + samosa and was not disappointed
Such a cute little place, onion bahji wrap is incredible! Lovely staff and really tasty food! I am local to bath and this is hands down one of the best street food places near by!
I picked up some samosas, samosa chaat and chai tea here for myself and my children and we absolutely loved it. My children adore samosas generally and found these to be the best they'd had. Meanwhile, the chai tea was delicious. Also, the man working...in the shop was so friendly and nice. Don't miss it for a delicious, inexpensive treat!More
I’m pretty surprised looking back at all the 5* reviews because I found the wrap to be entirely average. It was mostly rice and there was not enough sauce on it. The textures were good, but it wasn’t anything special. The chai was very watery...and not strong. The samosa was the best thing, but it wasn’t served with any sauces to dip into. It definitely wasn’t the worst thing we had on our trip and it was fine as a quick meal before going out to bars, but we would’ve regretted if we’d passed up a different meal for this one. I might get a samosa and some of their chutney and tamarind sauce if I lived in the area, but for a travel we wouldn’t go back.More
