My wife and I came here on Monday night on a bit of a whim really- we were walking past & saw it was rather busy (for a Monday night in Bath!!) so we decided to see what all the fuss was about- and we are SO glad we did. As soon as we entered we were made to feel welcome by Briony on the bar; although clearly very busy she was always smiling and making everyone laugh. We only came in for one drink but the atmosphere was too good we didn’t want to leave so we ended up staying for about 6! by the third round we didn’t even need to ask the barmaid what we wanted she would just make it when she saw us walk down the stairs lol! We did also have some burgers (another spontaneous decision upon seeing the menu) which were absolutely delicious and came very quickly.
10/10 night, if I could give it more than 5* I would! Thankyou Juno, we’ll be making the trip over from Bristol again very very soon!

Food was amazing, props to the chef!! atmosphere was super friendly and chilled too. Staff were so lovely! I requested if they could do something for my boyfriends birthday and they went out their way to give us slices of cake and sang to him. Overall amazing time and can’t thank them enough - we will be back soon:-)

Went for dinner here on Saturday at 6.30pm. It was our first time. We had a very nice booth opposite the bar. We had a bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc which was excellent, we also had a few cocktails which were also great, just before Happy Hour ended and we obviously had to have a few shots. My Chicken Burger was very tasty and my wife had the Jackfruit burger which she liked. It was great to see the four staff members working as a team whilst having a good time (especially Heidi our waitress). They made our visit a great night out, so we bought them all a shot each, including the Chef. We will be back.

We popped in to Juno a couple days ago after having it recommended a few times by various friends. When we ordered the lady behind the bar explained food would take 20 mins as the kitchen had only just reopened after closing due to a busy spell. We were happy to wait so ordered and paid.
Once the order was put through the lady came back to say the chef said it would actually be 30 mins - by this point we had paid so agreed to stay and wait as we weren't particularly in any rush.
My partner's pizza came out first. We were told my burger would be following shook after. 5 mins later my partners fries arrived... 5 mins after that my burger finally arrived and the chef had got the order wrong. It was taken away and 10 mins later the correct order came out - this was 20 minutes after my partner had been served his food. By this point I had eaten some of my partner's food as I was so hungry, and he was well over halfway through his.
The lady serving us was very apologetic and did provide us with a partial refund which was gratefully received. Unfortunately, the cajun spiced fries I had ordered were so over-salted that I couldn't taste if they were cajun spiced or not, and could only eat about a 3rd of it. By this point, we did not bother raising a complaint as we had already waited so long for the food and already received a partial refund so it all seemed fruitless. We just wanted to finish up and leave.
My partners pizza was lovely, although his fries were over salted too. Overall I think we must have caught the kitchen on a bad day as many friends had recommended Juno to us, but we won't be returning.

I love the atmosphere here. They have a great selection of spirits, even some more unusual ones like blueberry gin which is lovely. The food here is fantastic and I've never been disappointed. Some of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had and it's great value for money.

I’ve been going now for a few visits, this hidden Gem has been an absolute pleasure to go to, the food and drink menu is substantial and reasonably priced. Oscar our bar tender was very kind and attentive, we had a few beers and played pool upstairs, the atmosphere is really
Good, compared to other places. Bath is definitely changing for the better, we need more places like Juno. Keep it going guys!

As soon as I walked into Juno, I was greeted with a lovely smile and was politely asked to make sure I have checked into the venue and to sanitise. This action and attention to detail gave me the confidence that I was entering a safe and aware establishment, which during these times builds confidence. I was then escorted to my table without having to wait in the rain straight away, even though they were busy.
Jessie, the acting manager offered polite conversation and was willing to talk through the menu in detail. I’m not a fussy customer but the thorough attention to detail had me sold.
I used to work in the hospitality trade, so I’m used to quickly spotting faults. I can certainly say - that this venue has employed great staff and they are very well trained.
The atmosphere is fantastic! The smiles from other customers and seeing staff “happy” working in their environment breeds positivity about Juno.
Tom the chef, cooked up some amazing food and again the service was impeccable.
I’m looking forward to returning!
Great vibes, lovely staff, amazing food and a great niche place!
Anyone who reads this- please make an effort to visit- you won’t be disappointed!

You wouldn't expect to find such a place tucked around the side streets of the Southgate shopping centre, a few minutes minutes from the bus and rail stations. A big range of well-selected beers, tempting casual dining of good pizza, burgers and fries (with enough vegan and GF options) to please anyone. Upstairs a cool pool lounge... but everything in this joint has been lovingly put together with authenticity, and a bunch of friendly staff who clearly love what they do. Well worth seeking out to enjoy the tunes (you can download their playlists online) and be well-chuffed that you found this great pitstop!

Just tried to visit this restaurant but were met with extremely rude staff (Scooby Doo and Daphne) who dismissed us with no option to wait for a table. We also asked for recommendations for alternatives, since they were so unwilling to serve us and we are not familiar with Bath and were greated with a ‘I can’t recommend anywhere, everywhere is busy’. My mum is severely asthmatic so needed somewhere to sit ASAP but we were given dirty looks until we left. Two men walked in straight after us and were given a menu and table straight away whilst we were still waiting. Absolutely appalling!

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to write your review. As owner of this business I feel I need to write a quick reply. Not only to set the record straight, but also in in support of my staff.
I appreciate that you feel you didn't have a pleasant experience visiting us, but after reviewing the CCTV there seem to be a few inaccuracies with your review, so I'm here to set the record straight in support of my excellent staff. Here goes... (you'll notice I've written direct replies to each part of your review)

REPLY: First of all, I need to mention that it was Halloween and my staff were in fancy dress, I don't actually employ characters from an 80's children's cartoon. I do however know for certain that you would not have been met with ‘extremely rude staff’, both Scooby Doo and Daphne have previously worked in Rick Steins restaurants in Cornwall. They have both been trained to some of the highest levels of restaurant customer service and our many 5 Star TripAdvisor reviews will support this. Secondly, we are not a restaurant, we are a bar that does food. So we don’t have time limits on tables, hence why you could not be given a certain time when a table might become available.

REPLY: From talking to both Scooby Doo and Daphne I have learned that you were given alternatives (Brewhouse & Adventure Café – both similar to Juno, but bigger), and that you were also advised that as it was a Saturday, they might also be very busy. Unfortunately, it was a payday weekend, and a home rugby match day, so Bath was extremely busy. Apart from one 2 seater breakfast bar area upstairs that we don't book out, we had been fully booked for well over a week. After speaking to Scooby Doo for approximately a minute you and your party then stood in our doorway for 5 minutes. The girls weren’t giving you dirty looks, they were wondering what was going on and whether they needed to approach you again to see if they could offer any further assistance. The CCTV has been viewed, and to be honest, it does look rather puzzling as to what you were doing.
Also, we can appreciate and understand that your Mum is asthmatic, and needed somewhere to sit. But you did not mention this when you approached the bar and spoke to my staff. If you had, and your mother was struggling or was having an asthma attack and needed assistance, then of course any member of Juno staff would have acted appropriately and made her as comfortable as possible whilst offering any further assistance that might have been needed.

REPLY: Absolutely, I can confirm this happened. Two men did approach the bar, and were given menus and taken to the 'un-booked' breakfast bar area upstairs that will ONLY seat two people. If it was suitable for four people (the size of your group), it would of course, been offered to you. But it wasn't, so we didn't offer it. Unless of course you would like to sit on each others laps. But that's not something we've ever found popular with other customers so assumed you wouldn't be keen. We are not in the business of turning away and upsetting customers for fun, what would be the point? We are however in the business of welcoming customers in to Juno, and we do our upmost to make sure they have an enjoyable experience with us as that’s generally how bar/restaurant business works. If we treated everybody the way you claim to have been treated we’d be out of business within a month. Again, check our other reviews to see the great work we do in Juno and the many positive reviews from satisfied customers.
So, to sum up: Thanks again for coming to Juno and thanks awfully for writing the awesomely accurate review - I don't believe a word of it, my staff are incredible and I wholeheartedly stand behind them. We hope you enjoyed your time in Bath and come back again soon. But if you do, please don’t darken our door again. Best of luck 😊

I have been to Juno’s a few times over my time in Bath, but every time I’ve been to Juno’s the staff have been very friendly and approachable and help out in a quick and professional manner. Junior in particular has been an absolute star because not only is he personable, he has incredible cooking skills and has made me on many occasions outstanding food. He deserves a raise. All jokes aside, special thanks to Junior and the staff at Juno’s!!!

This is a lovely little bar/restaurant hidden down a side street in Bath. We enjoyed tasty food and a great selection of cocktails, which we could watch the bar staff mix. The staff were helpful and friendly and helped to promote the happy atmosphere. We booked to visit for dinner and some drinks and we’re glad we did, because most tables were taken by bookings. We will definitely be returning.

My girlfriend and I had two chicken pesto toasties that come with a “fistful” of skin on fries, two glasses of coke and got change from £20. Nice relaxed atmosphere, really good fresh food and friendly service at a good price. A great find for a quick lunch on our trip around Bath.

Arrived early for our booked table but was found a space immediately. The bar was quiet but were still served straight away without having to wait for either drinks or food.
My wife had a Juno burger which she throughly enjoyed & i had a Rocketman pizza whick I could see being freshly prepared through the kitchen menu. The pizza tasted homemade and was probably the best pizza I have ever had when eating out. For the quality of the meal I thought it was well priced.
Overall an excellent meal and great staff.

I visited Juno with my young daughter for an early lunch. We arrived at 11:40, before the kitchen opened at 12pm, but placed our order at the bar and it was ready by 12:10. My little girl had a margarita pizza and I had a chicken pesto toastie, both were so good. The bar was quiet because it was early but the music and decor create a good atmosphere. Staff were friendly and the price was very reasonable for Bath.

We tried Juno’s after reading reviews - we weren’t disappointed.
The quality of the food and the service was excellent. The chicken is crispy in the burgers and pizzas are as good as in Italy.
We’d highly recommend giving it a try.
