Ate here as part of our stay at the Royal Hotel and was very pleasantly surprised. Because it was part of the package it was very good value. The food was delicious, with lots of choice and service was great.

food was really very good, plenty of chocie, and good size portions, at a reasonable price. Staff couldnt have been better polite, friendly, and immaculately turned out. Restaurant was clean, only negatives decor is tired, and plastic plants really date it

We ate 3 evening meals and 3 breakfasts in this restaurant which is nicely decorated - French bistro style, brass railings, quite dark. Friendly efficient serving staff at all times. There was a good choice at breakfast delivered to your table, high quality bacon and...sausages. You were offered 3 types of bread before dinner which were delicious- our meals ranged from good to very good. The first evening was disappointing - grisly steak and very over salted and overcooked duck but the other meals were tasty and well presented. Delicious risotto and puddings. A good choice of reasonably priced wines. It was a popular restaurant which was good to see during these uncertain times.More

I had dinner at Brasserie Brunel today with my husband and it was a wonderful experience. The pear and blue cheese tart was the highlight and the sea bass with lemon risotto and the white chocolate creme brûlée were also perfect! The staff were very...polite and friendly and the restaurant was very clean, organized and comfortable. I hope I can come back to Bath and pay another visit to Brasserie Brunel very soon.More

I had a dinner with my wife at Brasserie Brunel, as I was a guest in the Royal Hotel. The food was incredibly good (seriously, I'm not joking: a straight 10 out of 10), and the staff were so polite and respectful that made us...really feel good during the dinner. My choices were the camembert for starter, then the lamb and a creme brulé for dessert. All were great, but seeing the couple in the other table ordering the Eton Mess made me want to try that too. :)More

The quality of the food and the service was fantastic - although we had read from reviews that the food was good we were delighted to find that the word "good" didn't do it justice. The staff were helpful and friendly and made eating there...an extremely enjoyable experience.More

Not expensive but excellent food and helpful, efficient staff. I had the Tiger prawns which were delicious and taragon chicken which was nicely presented. The cheeseboard was generous too!!

Dined here over two nights as part of a weekend stay. Lamb rump on the Saturday was "melt-in-the-mouth" amazing as were the pear and stilton starters. On Sunday night we were served pan fried tiger prawns starter (already de-shelled) and they were simply fabulous and...to top it all the sirloin steaks were the best ever; stupendous and we couldn't resist the creme brulee on both evenings - just too good to refuse. The service was faultless, the gap between courses was excellently timed to creat a truly fine dining experience - thank you for the memory.More
