Absolutely fantastic meal - great choice (including for vegetarians) and all the dishes we had were imaginative, tasty and well presented. It's unusual in that you would typically order 3 "main courses" each, so they're smaller than a normal main, but you get the variety...More

Lovely ambience in a quieter street just over the river from the station. Advised to get 3 different tapas type selections each, ie six for the table. But they come two at a time and are served in a way that makes sharing very difficult...More

Imaginative dishes, well presented, full of flavour and the chef has to be congratulated. Would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

We've been meaning to eat here for a while, and finally managed it whilst having a few days at the bath festival. A Friday night, booked well in advance, a bit of a surprise to walk in and be told, 'sit where you like' as...More

Visited on a quiet (and humid) Saturday evening with guests that were visiting Bath. The place was humid and our table was cramped, and it took over 20 minutes to order, and then a further 10 minutes to be served, any water/drinks. The waitress was...More

Description
Situated in Widcombe, very close to the centre of the famous spa City of Bath, the Ring O Bells is a two minute walk from Bath Spa railway and bus stations, and close to Bath Rugby and Cricket grounds. Most definitely a locals favorite serving seasonal food using locally sourced ingredients, the Ring O Bells welcomes you with a warm, intimate atmosphere. A wide selection of beers, real ale from Moles of Melksham and international wines are available, along with delicious and varied menus including everything from generous tapas with homemade bread to Sunday Roast, plus a la carte fine dining and a good selection of vegetarian dishes. You'll find live jazz in the bar every Sunday evening, and events in the separate upstairs function room, which is also perfect for your private parties. This country feel gastropub with flagstone floors and large tables is a great place to meet with friends and eat good food at any time of the week. Adjacent to the River Avon and Kennet & Avon Canal, and close to Prior Park Gardens National Trust land, the Ring O Bells is also an ideal stop off point while exploring Bath.
