Was nearly put off this place because of trip adviser status but it suited our trip between car park and Roman Baths . We really loved it . Stuck to the basics ( tom yam , pad Thai, red curry, satay , papaya salad ,gyoza etc) because we were with the children , but everything fresh , hot and delicious .... More

We stopped to grab some lunch, very busy so we were seated at the rear but it was very crammed in so not comfortable for eating. Platter to share was nice but main meals were tasteless, shortage of bottled beer made us finish up quickly and leave. Not on our radar to return.

Great location but don't be fooled. Food is awful, feels like it's just been heated from days in the freezer. The Beef had a terrible smell and when we complained the owner shrugged his shoulders and blamed it coming from Australia???? Would never return far better choices further into the town. This place relays on location with way below average... More

The location is great the bacj of the restaraunt over looks the weir, thus the name. It is a massive restaraunt two floors of dinning area, the place is well lit and badly decorated. The waiter that was working the night of our visit was very grumpy and his grasp of english was poor. The Tom Yam soup was good,... More

Walked across Pulteney Bridge and found this quaint little cafe with river views. We had an entree and main with a drink. The food portions were only just enough and could have been bigger judging on price. A little disappointing and the poor wait staff could hardly speak English. Average to say the least.

Very disappointing. Starters were small and over priced. Duck portion was only enough for 2 - 3 pancakes between 2 people. Main course was a beef noodle dish which did not look nice, had little flavour or beef. Service was ok and the view at the table over the weir is fantastic but, not a place I would go again.... We chose this restaurant as we were craving some Thai food and its in a great location overlooking the Weir. The restaurant decor is slightly tired but that didn't bother me and we had a nice seat by the window. I ordered a Diet Coke and the waiter bought me a can and when I poured it and tasted it,... Although there were some bad reviews, we wanted to take a chance as the menu looked appealing. We were glad we did as the food turned out to be great. Coming from Singapore, I was craving for something Asian. Having had a fair share of Thai food in my life, I'd have to say this place met my expectations and... More

We booked a table being a Saturday night with the expectation of the restaurant being busy. We need not have bothered as it was very quiet. We ordered a starter which was alright but nothing special. Our main was one of the most expensive being £14.00 and it was absolutely dreadful. It stated that it was a whole fish of... More

Tables at the back have lovely views of weir and there is a small balcony with one table available downstairs. We had a set menu for £15 each and the chicken and spring roll starters were good. The beef was very chewy and we heard similar comments by the table next door. The green curry had lots of flavour and... More
