Nice atmosphere spiced up with really good food and nice service - perfect mix! Came there for NYE and wasn't disappointed at the slightest!

Aio is Sardinian, so not entirely like other Italian restaurants. The starter was superb, the wine good & good vale, the fish main course tasty but seemed to aimed at those with no teeth - a bit more texture would have been welcome. The dessert...More

My wife and I went for dinner. We had the platter for two to start followed by lasagne & ravioli. To finish we had apple tart and tiramasu. All the courses were well made and delivered by genuine staff that were passionate about Sardinian food.

Just got back to hotel from Aio. Food was top notch. Hubby had the ravioli and I had a special from the board. Hailing from South West London we have been to most chains but chose this from previous reviews and because it was an...More

I was tempted to try Aio (why have my friends kept this secret from me?) for lunch through a Vouchercloud offer which required advance booking. Having arrived with my companion, I found that I had messed up downloading the voucher & it had disappeared into...More

First visit to Aio was on a Saturday night, it was very busy and there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and the service was good. We shared flat breads and olives to start, which was very nice and...More

The best food we have had in the UK so far. The bruschetta sampler (tomatoes, roasted peppers, roasted eggplant, all with garlic and a touch of olive oil) was great. Homemade pasta ravioli with sausage and turnip greens, and a stuffed rabbit to die for....More

A wet and windy Sunday night in Bath was transformed by an outstanding meal at this Sardinian restaurant. A beautiful Cannonau reserva accompanied 3 excellent courses for each of us. Especially good were the grilled calamari and chilli starter; the Sardinian specialty fregola with monkfish,...More

Description
Roughly translated from Sardinian, Aio' means come and join us, it's an appropriate title for one of Bath's most welcoming restaurants. Currently the only restaurant in the South West specialising in Sardinian cuisine, Aio', on George Street is close to the Assembly Rooms and The Circus, is a unique dining proposition, providing Bath's gastronomes with an opportunity to step outside of the Italian comfort zone. A modern interior inspired by the warm tones and natural materials of a traditional trattoria leads through to a suntrap courtyard just made for enjoying Aio's summery cuisine.
